I have now been at 4 events that Mike Lamb has been our DJ. I have to tell you, he gets the room up and moving. He jumps (literally) in and encouragingly teaches the dances. He is high energy that become contagious.
Although I have not worked with him, you can tell he listens to the host or hostess and had sound effects and music cued. I am not sure it it is pre planned on instinct, I can tell you it is spot on and effective.
