I have now been at 4 events that Mike Lamb has been our DJ. I have to tell you, he gets the room up and moving. He jumps (literally) in and encouragingly teaches the dances.
He is high energy that become contagious.
Although I have not worked with him, you can tell he listens to the host or hostess and had sound effects and music cued. I am not sure it it is pre planned on instinct, I can tell you it is spot on and effective.
If you want your room moving, happy and energetic, I highly recommend Mike.

What’s the secret to keeping a party dancing all night long?
There is no secret. You play what people will dance to. After performing at hundreds of events for over 25 years, my ability to "read the crowd" has increased dramatically. I have a style that is unique to me, and I feed off the audience's energy and vice versa.
How would you describe your ‘style’?
100% Positive, Gracious, Trusting, and Interactive. In my heart, I have to go above and beyond in order to provide customer service that exceeds my own, private expectations, which is pretty much way above what my clients expect.
What do you love most about your job?
I do not have a "job". I have a passion. I have been blessed with a Talent to perform. I chose to focus time and energy on it, in order to improve it, in turn, create memories that others, of all ages and backgrounds, can reflect on for as long as they choose. The day I look at my passion as a "job", I will put in my resignation immediately, and retire.
What inspired you to start your own business?
My heart. Note, it is not a business. I have a private trade. Since I was young, I had always possessed a passion to perform, be it, dancing, improv, acting, public speaking, or even hosting a private event in my own house. I figured out that I can trade my "services" with others who wanted it, with something of value. A win win for both parties.
Why should our clients choose you?
Because they want to. Those who "hire me" do so because they KNOW I will perform in such a way that will give their event that extra spark. They trust me. They feel comfortable with me, because I sincerely want them to be happy. My intentions are pure and there is no other ulterior motive, especially since I really don't need the money.
