I do not have a "cookie cutter" approach to my DJ service. Each event is as unique as you and your guests are. Before the event, I work with you to prepare custom song lists for your event; after all, you know your musical preferences and those of your guests. During the event, I watch both the guests' reactions to the music and their energy level, and I alter the music (faster or slower) as needed.
As I wrote, "I do not have a 'cookie cutter' approach."
My "style" is personalized service; it is important that we are comfortable with each other. This begins at our initial contact and continues through-out the event.
To me, the most satisfying part of being a DJ is the ability to add to everyone's memories about the event.
I have run classic car show cruises and shows for many years. Over the years, I found it to be extremely frustrating to work with some DJs who were unwilling to be part of the event but, rather, wanted to be the centerpiece of the event; a prime example of this, and "the straw that broke the camel's back," was an instance when I had given the DJ a written summary of the 50/50 pricing, yet he added, on his own, a price for an arm's length of tickets! So, I decided to be the DJ at my events. This has developed into DJ'g at events other than classic car events.
At the risk of repeating myself, I offer personalized service; I do not have a "cookie cutter" approach.
Also, if desired, I can ask trivia questions during the event and award prizes, to keep your guests more involved in the event. The questions can range from general trivia to trivia specifically related to your event, and the prizes can range from general items, such as CDs, to items specifically related to your event.
Being a "remote" DJ is possible, but it would take the personal element of being/having a DJ away (it would be like being a magician on the radio!!), not to mention that the costs and the logistics would probably be prohibitive to doing so.
I am fully-vaccinated. And, at each event, I wear a mask when I interact with anyone (to paraphrase an old radio and TV show: "who was that masked DJ?"!!).
