We used Todd for a 50-person company party this week to do karaoke for us. He was awesome and easy to work with. We had to postpone the party at one point due to the Omicron variant and Todd was accommodating and understanding of that. He was professional, fun, energetic, timely, flexible, and just an all-around great guy to work with. The team loved karaoke and he played great music to keep the energy going. This review is long overdue!Matuesz and his team at Liquid Lava Productions (LLP) DJ'd my 9/12/15 wedding, and they did an a great job! Countless people swore that we had the best music of any wedding they'd ever been to. This included not only our guests, but multiple staff at our venue. Considering the hundreds of weddings they have worked, that's quite the compliment (our coordinator at the venue even reached out to have him handle her wedding - and she wasn't even there on the day of!). It was so great to have LLP on our team to make our event so memorable. Obviously Matuesz is talented. Did I mention that he was able to do such a great job even when working outside of his normal scope? I had the opportunity to see him DJ a few events prior to my wedding, typically playing rap, electronic and dance music. My wedding featured classic rock and top 40 rock, and he handled it like an old pro. This isn't just someone with a lot of experience (although a review of his resume shows and impressive amount); Matuesz is someone with natural talent and musical ability. Now, any bride knows how much time and energy goes into planning a wedding, so you will appreciate when I say that talent is not the only thing LLP has to offer. They were absolutely awesome to work with throughout the entire process. Everyone at LLP is extremely professional, enthusiastic, and responsive. They made me feel taken care of, from answering every question I could possible have during our initial consultation, to working directly with my venue to plan the set up, to touching base with me to get playlists and any other info I dragged on getting over, to working with me to get extras like lighting, to doing an in-depth review of our timeline (he actually spent two hours with me!) to make sure everything went as smoothly as possible and he knew exactly what I wanted. He made suggestions, listened to my ideas, and overall was willing to participate in a collaborative effort, using his skill and experience to build my ideas into something very memorable. And I know that this sounds like LLP would be an outrageously pricy company to work with, but they were unbelievably reasonable. Matuesz customized our package to work within our budget, was very transparent and upfront about his pricing. He offered add-ons that he thought were worthwhile, but was never pushy, and he never tried to upsell me on anything just to inflate his profit. I'm so glad I used LLP for my wedding. They were a dream to work with and made my wedding so memorable. Thank you LLP!
