This place is a blast. Neon colors everywhere? Yup. Old school skates? Oh, you better believe it. Rollerblades? Of course. Throwback jams that bring you back to junior high dances? Absolutely.I came here recently for an 80's Skate Night that my church put on. We had the ring to ourselves from the hours of 6-8:30pm. They had a DJ there the whole time who would throw out a few cheesy jokes here and there and let you know when it was time to backwards skate, race, or reverse the direction that everyone was skating. This ring just recently opened so everything is brand-spankin' new, but still has a retro feel to it. Yes, they have old school skates. But these skates also light up (same with the wheels on the rollerblades). Everything here is painted in bright neon colors, and they have flashy lights above the rink.Prices are fair - a little bit higher than the Rollerdrome in Nampa - but I think that has more to do with location than anything. $8 for admittance and $3.50 for rentals. You can bring your own skates, but they have to look at them and approve them before they let you use them on the rink.Bathrooms are clean and well kept. They have a snack bar too - but I didn't stop for anything so I don't have any deets on their snack prices.Overall, I had a blast! This would be a super fun family activity - but there's also no shame for the adults who want to get out there and bust a move on some skates! ;)

Chris is the best DJ you will ever have! Almost everyone I talked to who attended my wedding and reception said it was the best one they have ever been to! He created a schedule for the whole event and made sure things happened when they were supposed to. There was never any awkward moments during the reception where guests didn’t have anything to do! He helped them get involved in the activities, really kept the whole night flowing! There was always music playing whether it was something we picked or something he knew our guests would enjoy. He had a big role in our wedding and he nailed it! I honestly don’t know how it could have been any better! I know if he wasn’t there it would not have been the same. Hands down recommend 100%! We were lucky enough to have DJ Dave, himself, DJ our wedding. I planned my wedding in Boise, Idaho while living in Pullman, Washington. He was unbelievable with working with my traveling schedule. We talked on the phone many times before I booked him over the phone before even meeting him! He was never pushy like some vendors get when dealing with brides! I could tell just by talking to him on the phone that he was going to do a great job at my wedding. We met in a coffee shop by my parents house in Boise to discuss our wedding day. He really wanted to get to know my husband and me. We had him tell the story of how we met and he even put it in our words. Definitely have DJ Dave's tell your Love Story. The guests enjoy it as some may have not heard the details. We also did the Pearls of Wisdom, which I highly recommend. It gives guests a chance to give you some marriage advice without their names even having to be said. It really shows the personalities of your guests!! When our wedding day came, I had absolutely no worries. He even called me the month before and week before and day before to double check with me! Usually we have to call the vendor ourselves. Dave was unbelievable! We even got compliments on picking him! He kept our guests entertained as well as us.

I am the only DJ I know of that will take a complete playlist of music requests. Most DJ's will not. I have multiple sound systems to facilitate different locations and venues. I always bring plenty of microphones, wired and wireless to adapt to all requirements, and, yes the ever changing of the mind on events that happen by the minute. Most importantly, this is your event and my goal is to provide you with exactly what you want and assist you in making it the perfect day.
There are several key secrets. Take requests from the guests. Get a play list ahead of time and have it programmed into the mixing software. Most importantly, the DJ must be adept at reading the crowd and continuing with the music that works for this group. All the while keeping in mind that the older folks need an occasional dance as well.
I am a professional. Professional DJ's do not have a set style. They give you exactly what you are looking for. They are a professional emcee when required, and a behind the scenes coordinator keeping things moving and fun and most of all......keeping them dancing.

I mixed music professionally and in the church for large worship teams and groups over the years. One day I got a call from an old friend asking if I could possibly consider doing what I do for his daughter's wedding. Being an old friend I agreed, and in the process, I discovered that the direct contact with the bride and groom, the level of hands on involvement and the incredible happiness of weddings and the satisfaction of helping to create the perfect day was what I wanted to do with my life from that day forward. Also the satisfaction I get from working private parties and corporate events just can't be beat. It is the amazing feel good experience for me.
I am exceptional at what I do. Not because I am special, but because I LOVE THIS STUFF, and I truly strive for making your day the best one EVER. I help with the planning and coordinating when requested, to make sure that you can focus on actually enjoying your event. I ensure everything and everyone are ready behind the scenes prior to making the announcements so when special moments happen, they happen smoothly instead of awkwardly, making sure the you, and everyone else who are to be involved in the next function or event are in place and ready to go. There won't be any “typical problems” because I have been working with your other vendors and your selected staff or coordinators in the background making sure those things are done and ready. In other words, when you hear an announcement, it will take place immediately and smoothly.
I also am available, prior to your event, for those “how do people do this” kind of questions. I have, to date, worked more than 1,200 events and I am happy to share my experience and expertise. I am a certified sound engineer and I have the capability to do the extras such as editing song clips to eliminate long lead ins, and to edit and chain different pieces of music into one single audio publication to be used for things like “breakout dances”. These types of audio edits are, of course, all part of your cost. If you have booked my services, these special extras are at no additional cost.
I do not charge Hourly, so if you need to start earlier or stay later, your cost will not change as long as your event ends by 1 AM.
And, did I mention that I have a great sound system and hard drives with more than 914,000 pieces of music on them? Also, I love specific play lists should you want to submit one.

Since I am traveling to my customer's venue site, I don't control the environment. But I am fully flexible and will help in any way I can. If I currently have Covid, I will, unfortunately, not be able to work your event.
