What to say...anyone who skates knows that not all rinks are born equal..what really matters is the ATMOSPHERE. Treasure Valley Skate may have skates, neon carpet and soft pretzels but what really brings this place to that extra mile is the atmosphere. There is never a dull or boring moment, the whole place is filled with smiles, laughs everyone having a good time. Lots of good skaters that really liven the place up. I've been to Treasure Valley Skate twice - both times to watch Treasure Valley Roller Derby girls skate. Not great as a spectator venue, but the skate floor is more than adequate for a Roller Derby bout. It is clean and we'll maintained. I don't Roller skate, so I won't go there for that purpose. Rebecca Sheldon is a flat out liar!!! I wouldn't normally comment on a bad review but this one is complete BS, I happened to be the host of this party that day so your party was well aware of who the adult host was I gave your party the rundown of the party parameters, time frame/expectations and have witness's besides just the 10yr old to confirm that fact because granted yes there is a 10 year that does help out every now and then because she happens to be the owners daughter and it is a family run business, she also had given your party extra time due to the fact that your party was running late which is not a big deal it happens. ... She made me aware of if and I was working on cleaning another room while you guys wrapped things up, somewhere in between that short time one of the grandmothers, who had arrived late to the party decided it would be a good idea to pin the 10yr old little girl up against a wall and begin yelling/screaming at her , rather than asking for an adult/host or the owner, she preceded to tear down that little girl while all the rest of the party sat and watched and did nothing, the only person to step up and try and diffuse the situation was our 18yr old concession attendant and then the GEM of a grandmother proceeded to yell at her as well for being rushed, mind you not a single one of you brought issue to me the host or any other adult that you were having an issue with the time frame or the fact that the owners daughter was in an out of the room helping pick up trash and checking to see if you guys needed refills on your sodas and taking your ice cream orders... We were skeptical about coming here because of some naysayers but let us set the record straight. This place is a diamond in the heart of Boise. It’s run by a local family who makes it clear they just wanted to bring some old fashioned family fun back to our city...it has been too long. The facility is clean, everyone is respectful and courteous. They have murals on the walls of all the party rooms, pool tables, they really go out of their way to make you welcome and make sure everyone is having a good time. Love that there's a rink in bike-ride range in Boise instead of having to car trip to Nampa/Rollerdrome. I thought the staff was friendly enough, and the rental blades seemed quite new and I was quite happy with the fit! It was a slow afternoon so they asked for a show of hands of who wanted to stop for games, and when only a few did they did games once (which clears the floor) but, respectfully, only that one time during the 3 hour skate.The only negatives are that it's a bit more expensive than Rollerdrome (think of the gas and time savings though), and like Rollerdrome the floor has some uneven spots, which I didn't expect on such a new floor (although they're nothing like the lumps at Rollerdrome!) It's a little slicker too, but IMO that is better for falls and skating in general. More...

They really broke the mold with this one. A skating rink with pool tables, 21+ adult nights, from what I understand they are starting a summer skate camp and host roller derby bouts here as well. I go here very frequently because it is the only rink in Boise. I love the atmosphere, the friendly staff/management, and they make me feel like family here. This was an awesome place! My family and I all went together, we took our kids, our younger siblings, and my whole family was here to have an awesome birthday party for our niece. She definitely loved it. We came around Halloween time so all of the workers were dressed up and definitely made it more alive. The lights and music were definitely a bonus. My family really enjoyed being here and making memories at this amazing place. We all biffed it quite a lot Haha. But it was definitely worth it and a lot of fun. I 100%reccomend this place for birthday parties, fun nights out, family nights, ect. This place definitely comes with a homey feeling and amazing customer service and awesome people willing to help you out. I love that they make it really easy and accessible to get on and off the skating ground. They also allow you to bring a stroller for babies if you want to bring them in the skating rink as well. Its truly an awesome place, the kids definitely lived how their clothes glowed and the floor was glowing and I really enjoyed that my entire family had a blast and was always laughing it smiling. This place is so much fun! We live out in Caldwell so have always gone to the rink closer to home but this was worth the drive. The young woman in the jersey handing out skates was very sweet and told us which skates would be best for the beginners in our group, and helped us adjust them to better fit our feet.
