People, Preparation and Execution. It's all about what the people, the client and the invited guests, want. DSE works with our clients to customize the music to the event. DSE uses our proprietary Event Planning Worksheet to get the music just right. We work directly with the client's event planner to understand all aspects of the event. Execution. For every event, we visit the venue prior to the show. First to get the general layout and introduce ourselves to the venue management and for placement of equipment, lights, fog machine or whatever equipment may be needed. During the event, when possible, we try to take as many song requests as we can, given the itinerary for the night. Most of all the goal is to have fun!
As an experienced broadcaster, I know the right balance of fast and slow music, announcements and song requests. Yet when engaged at a private event, the needs of the client become paramount. I approach every booking as if it were my own event. It may be a once in a lifetime event for my client, so my job is to ensure everyone has a memorable time. If it is an annual event, each should be better and more entertaining than the last. Additionally, I serve my clients with integrity and honor. There are no hidden fees. Our clients are never charged for set-up, tear down, mileage or client meetings. Additionally, Master of Ceremony (MC) service is never charged when a DJ, KJ or live performance is booked. All costs are presented as early as possible after initial conversation.
