What do you love most about your job?

I love seeing the American spirit alive and well. It is always fun meeting with area businesses, which show us how great of a country and area we live in. The ingenuity that business owners contribute to our society never ceases to amaze me. We listen to our clients needs. Even though accounting and bookkeeping has basic fundamentals, debit and credits, not one size fits all. It is our goal to help business owners/manager to know and understand the financial health of their company so it is vibrate for decades to come.

What inspired you to start your own business?

I am not a math genius, but adding, subtracting, multiplying and dividing just comes naturally to me. I worked for a similar business in the great state of Maine. My boss at the time was a brilliant woman but when her clients talked, she didn't listen. I saw that as a weakness and very unfortunate. Business owners are creative and have the ingenuity gene, but they typically need help with their books. If you stop long enough to hear how they started, why they do what they do and where they want to end up......it paints a picture full of color and you know where and how to start getting their books where they need to be. I find this so fun and rewarding. Yes, I am a dork!

Why should our clients choose you?

At the point of deciding between us other companies proposals, they don't know us from Adam. It has to be a very hard choice because opening up your company books is a very personal and private matter. I can tell people all day long about my education, passion and desires but it will come down to meeting my team and I. If they feel comfortable and think the fit is good.....then our work, passion and communication will speak for itself. Unfortunately that is something only time provides. We are honored any time we are given the opportunity to prove ourselves and our client reviews speak for themselves. (found on FaceBook, ThumbTack or www.BottomLineAccountingFirm.com)
