What inspired you to start your own business?

“I sold my newspaper delivery business in May 2017. I had worked as an accountant for nearly 10 years before that mostly for Officeworks and Coles Myer and decided to return to accounting but this time working for myself. However, I didn’t know how to get clients, or what training I needed, or how to run an accounting / bookkeeping business. I saw Jim’s Bookkeeping as being the answer and joined in December 2017. They provided me with training and guidance and now just 16 months later I have the foundations of a business which will provide me with a decent financial reward while still allowing me the freedom to work the hours I want. Jim’s Bookkeeping has a cash flow advisor program which teaches us to help our clients grow their cash flow. I am starting to put in place the tools I need to offer this service to my clients. I am also looking at what other services I can offer. These extra services will allow me to grow my income and profit even faster than I have been and provide me the opportunity to work less hours for more money.
