Cheryl is amazing. We rescued a German Shepherd who had been abused and had some behavioral problems. After 4 weeks, Cheryl has worked miracles. She has such a heart for animals and it shows. I am extremely fortunate because Cheryl and I worked together as RN Care Managers. She was always very professional and always had the best interest of her patients at heart! We have boarded our Labrador Retriever, Scout, with Cheryl twice this year so far and have scheduled boarding 2 more times during our planned trips. Cheryl treats Scout just as she would a patient, professional, thorough and with so much love!! Scout loves when she stays with Cheryl and so do we!! What do you love most about your job?
Taking care of people and their dogs. I love working with dogs making them happy, healthy and well-behaved family members with training.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I have always had a passion for working with dogs which began when I was a child when I got my first dog, a Pembroke Welsh Corgi named Doolittle who I showed in Junior Showmanship and then went on to show Corgis in conformation and obedience at AKC dog shows.

What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
Training classes are held outside and clients are kept at 6 foot distance from each other. I have access to hand sanitizer and masks in my kennel.
Dog Boarding
I provide boarding in my home. I have 2 separate large fenced in yards that are directly off my kennel for dogs to play, exercise and potty in. I’m onsite and the sole provider for the dogs under my care so you will always know the person who is caring for your dog. I offer standard boarding in my kennel, luxurious boarding outside of my kennel for dogs that don’t tolerate a kennel environment and open boarding (dog is not crated) limited to up to two dogs from the same household.
Dog daycare
Daycare is limited to current clients only.
Dog walking and Pup Adventures
Can be minimum of 30 minute walk at your home or a Pup Adventure which is a 1.5-2 hour hike or outing at a local park or other scenic location within 15 miles from my facility. Pup adventures can be tailored for your pup to help exercise your dog, reinforce any training with your dog and provide them with the mental stimulation they need. For the pup adventures transportation to and from the location is included.
Drop-in Visits
Home visits are tailored to the time needed to provide care to your dog in the comfort of their home.
Grooming
I provide the following dog grooming services at my facility, brushing, bath, towel and fluff dry, nail trimming, nail buffing, ear cleaning and trimming of coat with scissors. I don’t do any clipper trimming, styling or stripping of coats. I offer spa packages and grooming at an affordable rate. I don’t offer mobile grooming services.
Obedience training
I offer basic obedience training such as the commands sit, down, stay, off, heel, place, leave it and come. I can also work with you and your dog on behavior modifications, assist with puppy training, crate training and housebreaking. I offer training sessions with boarding and daycare, private lessons and group classes for puppies 12 weeks-6 months and dogs over 6 months. For puppies under 12 weeks old, I can only provide private lessons in client’s home.
