Joe was amazing to work with! My company hired him to help us with a office party on a Thursday in the Hamptons. He made it out on time, was prepared with all of the appropriate gear and set himself up in a timely manner. Joe Valentine is truly a one man party. We hired him for a bat mitzvah, and he brought his own sound and light system, candy, prizes, and games. We had a shy crowd of girls ages 12-13 and we were worried that they would be too nervous to dance, but Joe and our wonderful motivator Marion got the whole group dancing all night long. Every year I run an event in the city of Rye called Halloween window painting. It takes place down on purchase Street in Rye New York. We close down the street and we have close to a thousand people downtown. This is the first year we decided to book a DJ and the outcome was amazing. DJ, Joe had everyone entertain dancing, playing games. The crowd downtown was probably the most packed. I've seen it in the 9 years running this program. We hired Joe for our son’s Bar Mitzvah with the helpful directions that we wanted a “non-cheesy fun time for our easily embarrassed son”. He delivered and then some. While planning our wedding, my husband and I made it clear that in order to have a great party, you need to have a great DJ. Joe was exactly that and more. The night began when Joe graciously stepped in to play the music for our ceremony. My husband and I failed to coordinate with our venue, but Joe was there to save us at the last minute. Not only did Joe play the music, but he also organized the ceremony and prepared everyone for when it was time to walk down aisle. Our ceremony went as smooth as can be, and that is in great part due to Joe.

Following our ceremony, Joe once again stepped in to play the music for our cocktail hour. Although he wasn’t tasked to play our cocktail hour, he was ready and prepared as soon as we asked him to. The music that Joe played was an absolute hit with our guests and provided a wonderful atmosphere to the beginning of our party.

When the cocktail hour came to a close and the real party started, Joe became not just our DJ, but our MC as well, and he couldn’t have been better. He even orchestrated a way for my husband and I to have our first dance with everyone at our wedding. Since we weren’t going to have a first dance at all, Joe came up with the idea for everyone to dance with us. We loved the idea and we are so glad that we ended up doing it. As for the rest of the party, Joe was both a fantastic DJ and MC. The dance floor was packed the entire night due to his amazing personality and high energy approach. Not to mention the music he chose to play was perfect the entire night and catered perfectly to my husband and I and our guests. Furthermore, the photo booth that Joe provided was a fantastic addition to our party, and we are so happy we were able to get one. The cherry on top is the fact that Joe came through for us one more time when he stayed an extra hour because our guests just didn’t want to leave. Joe created such a fantastic atmosphere that we just couldn’t get enough and he was there for us to keep the party going.

Overall, Joe went above and beyond for my husband and I and we couldn’t be happier. He performed what was tasked of him (and wasn’t tasked of him) perfectly and we are so grateful for that. Our wedding night went amazingly and that is because of Joe. I would recommend Joe to anyone that is looking for a DJ and MC to make their wedding night a memory everyone will remember.
