Hiring Josie was one of the BEST decisions we made for our wedding! I can't rave enough about the quality of her photos, the value of her packages, and Josie's awesome personality. She made each experience comfortable and fun, she's a total doll, and she gives TONS of information to help you prepare for a successful shoot. She has so much information to help the overwhelmed bride, from vendor selections to locations for the engagement shoot. She was also the most communicative person I dealt with for the entire wedding, which is a huge plus for me! Josie also brought Mary as the second photographer to shoot our wedding and both were a great addition to the atmosphere and took fantastic photos. Some of the little things that make Josie so great are that she helped me find an amazing hair & makeup artist (who came through clutch), she helped a friend order a print of one of our engagement photos as a surprise gift, and when she noticed the venue hadn't turned on the AC in the grooms "suite" the sweltering day of our wedding, she turned it on so it would cool before he got there. We plan on hiring Josie for every major event we want to photograph in the future, and my family loved our photos so much that they've all asked me for her info for their own photos! More...

For starters, I just want to say, don’t even give it a second thought about hiring Josie. She is absolutely the best! I honestly can’t tell you enough, she pays attention to all the details, even the ones you never thought existed! She makes you and your partner the number one priority! She was my number one absolute priority to have at my wedding, because her work is seriously that good! When she did our engagements, all she told us was “I’m only here to capture the love, you guys just be yourself”, and HOLY COW, she made it so comfortable for us both, the photos were above and beyond what I could have imagined! Josie was a second-shooter with Amy Slogar on our wedding day. Just like Amy, Josie was i-n-c-r-e-d-i-b-l-e. They both captured our day perfectly and we have so many beautiful pictures that I have to keep changing my phone background because I can't choose a favorite! How do I even start. The way Josie captures beautifully simplistic and moody photos that show every ounce of emotion is what first caught my eye. She has such great attention to detail. Little did I know that choosing her as my wedding photographer would also turn into my bridal shower photographer, my engagement session photographer, and now a really good friend and my lifetime photographer. Josie was a great photographer to work with. I generally get nervous in front of a camera and I did not feel that way with her.
She did an engagement shoot with us, to get to know us better and I'm really glad we did it, as it "broke the ice" for me with being more comfortable getting photographed.
On the day of our wedding she truly captured the excitement and emotion of the day in each photo. I met with her a few weeks before the wedding at our first look location (which was beautiful - and her suggestion) and she determined a timeline that would work with the lighting since we were taking them right before the sun set. They turned out BEAUTIFUL and the lighting was perfect. We've had many compliments on our pictures, and how wonderful they came out. We would highly recommend her.

If I could give Josie 10 Stars I would!! Josie did my wedding on March 31st,2017 in Tampa Florida. She was so patient and sweet! ! She got every shot I wanted from beginning to end. I'm so glad I had her for the whole day my pictures look like they came out of a magazine!! My guest are raving about her work being the best they have witnessed! Josie was amazing. My event was not planned to the tee. Josie had 2 weeks to prepare and I didn't give her much notice about anything, I told her I was going to wing it right down to the location day of (because I was coming from out of state the night before). Josie was at the hotel several hours early and we worked the details she took some wonderful photos! Things I didn't even know she captured till I saw the prints. Sharing my day with her and her caputring so many moments still makes me smile ear to ear being able to share this review!!! I would recommend Joise a million times over. Josie did 3 photo shoots for my husband and I (Engagement, Boudoir, and Wedding). Upon meeting Josie, I was so impressed at her desire to provide a service and product that my husband and I really wanted.
Prior to our engagement shoot, she even reviewed my wedding board on Pinterest to find some of my favorite shots to re-create!
For my boudoir shoot, Josie made me feel so comfortable and gave me an amazing picture book that I could give to my husband the night before our wedding.

Josie Brooks did my 30th surprise birthday recommended by a friend. The picture where amazing so I hired her for my celebration of love when was like a reception, however we wanted photos to capture the moment as if it where a actual wedding.
Josie did just. That the photos of the event where beautiful she captured moments between my husband and I that I didn't realize where happening. As well as moments with my guest showing there love. Josie did such a wonderful job that I recently in 9/2015 hired her to complete my maternity pictures which where beautiful as well.
If you hire this photographer you will not be disappointed she is professional on time and delivers on the stated date.
