I absolutely loved my experience from beginning to end at Haigwood. I found the process very easy, the team is extremely professional, experienced and prompt.

I recently got a job at a large corporate company want wanted to look the part, but still bring my essence to the pictures. I think the Haigwoods did that.

Melanie answered all of my questions and provided me with a photography tips page which I used to pick out my clothes for the photo. They called day of to remind me of my appointment.

The photographer took the time to make sure I was warmly welcome, had a moment in the dressing room for finishing touches, and then we began the session.

I was immediately comforted when he took the time to model how I should pose and why before it was my turn. He made sure the little details were caught and every frame had a story. He also kept conversation flowing to keep me comfortable and guided me throughout. I had so many beautifully shot moments I ended up buying more shots for retouch. And I got to keep all frames at the end!

The Haigwood team is an absolute dream to work with! I was representing an agency who outsourced their team to help me and my client with a video shoot (out of town for both of us) and Melanie, John and their crew really made it as seamless as possible. They truly understood the creative vision we wanted to accomplish, and brought even more to the table to evolve the campaign to its best potential.

The post production process was great too, as they had plenty of deliverables required from us :) and they were able to keep it organized, detailed, and completed in a great, quick timeline.

I am very pleased with the results of my medical residency headshot pictures. I was initially nervous with the whole process, I wasn’t really sure what to expect. John was very professional and helped guide me through the session. He made me feel very comfortable in front of the camera and thanks to that I LOVE my pictures! I needed a professional headshot for my application to medical residencies. I'd been to another place where the shoot was uncomfortable, the pictures felt off, and the editing made the picture totally unusable. When I went to the Haigwood Studios, they made me feel comfortable right from the start. John and his wife had everything just right. I was posed perfectly, saw the pictures as they were being taken, and got my finished photo ahead of schedule. I love the way it looks. I looked at the picture and couldn't stop saying, "That's me!" I’m an amateur photographer & I called them to see if I could go along with John the owner on a photo shoot! He was very receptive & we went to a new assisted living facility to do photos for their website ! I went to every area with John & watched a master photographer do his thing. We were there for probably 3 hours & took probably 150-200 pictures. A week later he shared with me the pics after editing & I was blown away with the clarity & sharpness of the photos! I met John and Melanie Haigwood when I contacted them about needing marketing photos of a polished stainless steel pet bowl I created. My request involved my whole set of pet bowl products and two dogs! I needed many shots: different style bowls, on the floor, in a raised diner, different sizes, dogs eating, etc. As you can see, I had many unique needs which they were happy to provide. Once we started the shoot, it quickly became evident that this was not going to be an easy shoot. John said that my bowl was one of the most challenging products he's ever had to photograph and he's had his business since 1988! Even with the challenges he faced with my product and with one of my dogs, he was extremely patient, professional and pleasant. I never felt uncomfortable asking questions, making suggestions, giving feedback on a photo, etc. John made sure I had everything I needed even though the shoot went beyond what he originally estimated. When I left the studio, I had all of the photos in hand on a flash drive. Melanie was the icing on the cake! She coordinated everything. She is an extremely delightful person who makes you feel like you're their most important client. I really enjoyed getting to know the Haigwoods and really appreciate all they did to make sure I got the best ever marketing photos of my product! I will most definitely be engaging them for my future professional photography needs. They offer photography services in practically every category you can think of. After having John take some fantastic product photos, I decided to have photos of me and my pup (my inspiration for my company and my Unspill-a-Bowl® product) taken for use with some of my marketing materials. I don't like to have my photo taken as I'm not photogenic and I rarely like my photos. As you can imagine, I'm extremely uncomfortable in front of cameras. I'm happy to say I was delighted with the entire exprience and love the photos! John and his wife Melanie made me totally comfortable and encouraged me throughout the photo shoot. My pup and I actually enjoyed the experience and I now have great photos to use personally and professionally. I love the Haigwoods! In addition to their great service, they're wonderful people! I recommend them highly to anyone who wants top grade professional photos for whatever the occasion. I will definitely be returning to Haigwood Studios for future photography needs.
