Our DJ, Romi, along with the emcee, Jarrel, and their assistant, Chelsea, kept the energy exactly where we wanted it throughout the different stages of our wedding. Aura DJ Services were not only extremely easy to work with, they also had a ready solution for anything ! presented to them. One of our desires was to have our wedding party enter the reception to a snippet of a song that reminded us of them, and with a wedding party of around fourteen people, and a playlist of increasingly random songs, they took my idea and created a moment that our guests raved about. They took our genre requests and song choices and really brought together a set of music that was uniquely our flavor and oh so fitting.

My wedding coordinator recommended DJ Romi to me as her favorite wedding DJ EVER to work with and she was totally right! He is such a sweet and friendly person, my guests absolutely loved him (several people kept asking me throughout the night where I found him cuz they loved loved loved his song selections), the timing on the songs I chose for the ceremony were spot on. Jarrel was our MC and he was amazing! All announcement were made perfectly, he danced with the crowd and got everyone dancing, and he totally went above and beyond helping my wedding coordinator flip the space and move tables around after the ceremony and helped me with lighting issues during the reception. The wedding crowd was a mix of asian family and friends. The main "dancing' crowd were in their early 20s to mid 30s and really liked all the current popular hip hop and dance songs that were played. Our wedding was an absolute blast and a big part of that success was a result of Jarrel (our MC) who was fun and established a great atmosphere for the event. Hired this DJ for my best friend’s wedding and I’ll say it straight, this is what excellence looks like. Most people just want someone to show up and press play. This DJ didn’t just show up, they took control in the most professional, calculated way I’ve ever seen. From the get go, music was one of the most important aspects of our wedding. We wanted it to feel like a cool night out with your best friends, where you were having too much fun to leave the dance floor - and Romi 100000% delivered. We still hear from attendees of all ages on how our wedding was one of the most fun they've attended, and there's zero doubt that this was thanks to DJ Romi.

In the lead up to our wedding, Chelsea was consulting and was so thoughtful and so open, investing heavily in understanding what vibe we were going for and what music we liked. We used the client planning portal to request a number of songs we/our guests loved, but mostly left it to DJ Romi’s best judgment to curate the playlist. The client planning portal guided us through every step allowing us to make song requests, add announcements, and set times for special moments during our wedding.

On the day of, Auras team arrived early and made sure to connect with our coordinator and officiant without us having to manage this. We genuinely did not have to worry at all about a thing; Romi cued our walk down and back up the aisle perfectly, Jarrell (our MC) introduced us as husband and wife with so much excitement, and helped manage the speeches as we wanted.

Every song Romi played was perfect. We wanted fun music that would have moms and 20 somethings out on the dance floor, and sure enough, he walked that line perfectly. DJ Romi played at our company’s grand opening party this past Saturday night. We hired him because we had heard him at another party last summer. Both parties had folks up and dancing. It was uplifting, lively, and Romi kept it perfectly moving. He knew exactly what music to play and when. No one wanted to

We booked DJ Romi after we saw him preform for my sister's wedding. We have had MULTIPLE people come up to us after both of our weddings and say the DJ was awesome, that he read the crowd perfectly, etc. Most recently my friend said the highlight of my wedding was the music and that she walked away saying the vibes from the dance floor were awesome and always so high. Romi is so professional, fun, kind, and thoughtful. He makes you feel so comfortable with any requests, and is great at his job. I just got married on 01/25/25 and had to rush to leave a review because it was truly one of the best parts of our night was how incredible Romi was. The music was absolutely amazing, he lined up the perfect songs and mixes that matched our vibe and made it hard to even try to pull away from the dancefloor. Just wanted to say thank you, DJ Romi and Aura, for making our wedding the most amazing event ever! So many of our friends and family mentioned how incredible you were, and they had an absolute blast. I’ve been to a lot of weddings, and I have to say, DJ Romi was hands down the best I’ve ever seen (and I’m not just saying that because it was my wedding… lol).
