Find a Wedding Planner in Wilmington

Hiring someone to do a wedding from out of state was scary but it was all worth it! I was so blessed to have found such wonderful people to do my brother in laws wedding! They made it very easy from packages and pricing to being able to pay online. They always kept great communication with me and went above and beyond to make sure the wedding day was amazing and it was!!! I can't thank them enough!!!

Josh was an outstanding coordinator! He was so easy to communicate with and his calm demeanor helped the planning go smoothly. He had great suggestions for special touches at the reception and the bride and groom could not have been happier.

From the moment I met Jill at the London Wedding Show, I knew straight away that she was the perfect person to plan my dream wedding in Italy. Her ability to translate your ideas and turn these into reality was perfect for a non-creative like me, every detail was incredible and we had the most amazing experience throughout the entire year as we planned the wedding! Living in London we were lucky that we could easily hop over to Tuscany for the venue scouting and food tasting (a highlight for sure - I want to go back just to do this part again!), but otherwise everything was easily arranged over the phone/mail/skype. Getting married in Italy is a dream for a lot of people and Jill made that so easy for us, taking away the stress of finding the right supplier, to negotiating the pricing, managing them through the planning period and most importantly on the day! Our wedding day was the most wonderful, stress free event (even though it rained!), because Jill had already helped us to have a backup plan ready to go. I’m sure there were issues that came up, but fortunately we were blissfully ignorant and able to enjoy the entire occasion! I’d highly recommend Jill to anyone looking to plan a wedding in Tuscany - I want to do it all over again!

Words simply cannot describe how perfect Melissa and her team are! We hired Melissa for full service planning in August 2017 for our wedding in June 2019 at Wrightsville Manor, and I genuinely don’t think we could have had our dream wedding without her. Melissa made an effort to get to know both my husband and I throughout the process and helped us determine what our priorities were for our big day. From that, she made vendor recommendations based on those priorities, along with the ideas and designs that we collectively came up with. When issues arose during the planning process, she handled them with the utmost level of professionalism. On the day of our wedding, she literally handled everything (decorating, coordinating vendor arrival and set up, etc.) so we, along with our families and bridal party, could just focus on experiencing the excitement of our wedding day. It’s been 2 weeks since our wedding and we’re STILL getting messages and phone calls from guests about how beautiful our wedding was and how amazing Melissa’s team (& her recommended vendors) were. If you’re on the fence about hiring a planner, do it. But don’t just hire any planner, hire Knot Too Shabby Events!!
