I wanted to propose to my now-fiancée during a trip to Houston, but had never been there before. I wanted to hire a photographer for the surprise proposal and after looking at various photographers’ websites, I chose John. His website was very easy to navigate and his chat feature actually kept our messages after I accidentally closed the tab. Despite having an extremely narrow window to meet John (without my now- fiancée there) and plan the surprise shoot, he met with me at Hermann Park and took me to several prospective locations. He was friendly, professional, calm and laid back; all of which made me less nervous for the big day.
The proposal didn’t happen in the area that we planned, but was perfect nonetheless! John kept up with us as we walked through the park and inconspicuously took many nice pictures of us together. He was even able to photograph our car as it entered the park. He was a pivotal part of our proposal story and we have over 150 beautiful photographs we can look back on many years from now. I made a seven-minute-long video slideshow of our favorites and even ordered some prints! Everything was seamless and couldn’t have gone better. We’ll absolutely be hiring John for the wedding shoot too.

Amberlei was the absolute BEST! Her and her husband went above and beyond to make sure we had the most amazing Wedding Day in Colorado. We met up the day before as we all flew in from other states and were strangers 🙂( We Eloped) and had drinks. They were very pleasant and easy to get along with. Our pictures are breathtaking and I couldn't ask for better!! I definitely recommend her and would hire her again!!!
