Jessica is incredibly responsive, incredibly flexible with booking and rescheduling needs, and so personable and friendly it’s like you’re working with a life long friend. We commissioned Jessica to help us celebrate our very small and laid back wedding with a portrait session a couple of days after the fact. We got married a about a week before making the big move from our hometown of SC all the way to CO, and we wanted portraits to commemorate not only our nuptials but the city we were leaving behind. As luck would have it the weather was terrible the entire week of the wedding and Jessica was amazing about offering to reschedule over and over until we got it right. She would have absolutely taken the photos for us if we didn’t want to reschedule, however where some photographers might have pushed the appointment along just to get it over with and not prolong it to another day, Jessica cares more about the happiness of her clients and the integrity of her work than she cares about another day or another dollar. Every aspect of her business is professional, from the contract to the gallery delivery. Jessica delivered our gallery to us in only 3 weeks, which was less than what was promised in the contract yet long enough to allow her the time needed to impeccably edit every shot, even throwing in a beautiful black and white version of about 1/3 of the shots. Jessica loves all loving couples regardless of race or gender divides, if you look through her portfolio you will see just as many LGBT couples as any other kind, and although I truly long for a day when something like this is just considered a basic standard of decency, such acceptance is still NOT the norm, especially in the South. Not only did Jessica succeed in NOT making my wife and I uncomfortable (which is a small victory in itself as a lesbian couple in the south) but she made us feel loved, not just tolerated. She was truly excited to be taking our portraits! We loved every part of working with Jessica and we look forward to working with her again the next time we are in SC and need some portraits made, hopefully with a baby or 2 on our hips!! :)

Lauren is a very talented photographer and an even sweeter person. She does a great job of making you feel completely comfortable and relaxed during what some think is one of the most nerve wracking times of your life. You will definitely get your money's worth in her. She is fun, energetic yet calm, free- spirited, relaxed, low maintenance and very flexible. I have heard of photographers causing wedding day preparation to be worrisome and tense and Lauren is NOT like that at all. We are so blessed to have been able to have Lauren as our photographer for our daughter's wedding but even more blessed to have her as a sister in Christ and a forever friend. She will work her heart out for you and will enjoy every minute of it.

I've done hair and makeup for some styled shoots that Tara has been involved with and I am IN LOVE!! Her images are so clean and crisp. I highly recommend her!! You will not be disappointed.
