I scheduled Miriam for a private salsa lesson. She was very flexible with time but there were some studio availability issues initially. Once we did find a time (after a long work day), the lesson was so much fun! I was probably somewhere between discombobulated and uncoordinated (so basically a pre-beginner) but Miriam hooked me up with the basic groove. Her style of teaching is somewhere between strict and encouraging (as with most good instructors). And before leaving, she even assigned homework and did a video primer even though I am just visiting for work. So, if you do live in Tally, I would dance not walk over to Miriam's and have fun, get healthy and get groovin', like yesterday.

Because we arrived even before the Visitor Center was open - and likely also because it was a chilly Sunday morning - we enjoyed a private tour with Phil (a volunteer) which seemed more like going with a friend who shared mutual interest. The entire property is an amazing example of "Old Florida" and has enjoyed a series of very caring stewards of this very special property. Because of continuing careful ownership, Goodwood still exists unlike it's neighboring plantations that I read about in the book "The Seasons of Goodwood: The Unfolding Story of a Treasured Southern Mansion as Home". Our visit was a delightful experience, highly recommended.

I would recommend him for any event from a kids birthday, your granny's birthday & everything in between!! He's so versatile and has tremendous knowledge of all types of music! He takes time to consult with you to make sure you get exactly what you want for your special day. He's the best DJ in Tallahassee in my eyes!!
