This is the second time I've been a patron of Donna's business and she continues to come through. Two years ago I contacted her for two servers for my housewarming party and this year for a large family celebration. Donna is always responsive, asks the right questions and makes sure you have the right balance of help for the number of expected guests. Abena worked both parties and is awesome - she made sure food and drinks were served on time, buffet was stocked, cleaned up and stored leftovers so we could actually enjoy the party. If you're on the fence about spending money for help with your party - jump over and do it. It's worth every penny to be present with your guests and leave the service in Donna's capable hands. Highly recommend
Walters is Navy Yards newest restaurant and event space. Located at South Capitol St and N st SE and just steps from the Washington Nationals stadium, Walters premier location allows for pre and post game events and non game day event space from parties of 10-300. Boasting one of the largest digital video boards in the district and a 24 tap pour your own beer wall Walters has a unique space that can provide flexibility for any type of event.
Straight up, great neighborhood sports bar. All of the right channels and a good crowd without being loud. Small selection of decent bar food, friendly staff... Thursday night trivia (DC Trivia) is always a good time. Good selection of beers -not DC prices! All day ever changing happy hour.

I cannot say enough good things about this brunch spot. It's expensive at $42pp but you get so much value for the money and the staff are extraordinary.
I couldn't believe it! I mentioned off hand to the chef that bruleed grapefruit would be a lovely addition to the buffet and he surprised me and my husband with the dish. No extra charge.
amazing deals on beverages, fun environment. Pros: Drink will punish your liver thoroughly. Hole in the wall, so if you are a trash can, you should feel at home. No far left liberal dweebs creeping from the H street hipster whereabouts. They have an 8$ drink where they load up a bunch of liquor into a cup the size of a dumpster fire. Cons: sometimes you wake up severly dehydrated in a strangers bed in rural Maryland. (drink specials, also can be a pro) Lots of Sperry wearing Republican Bros (also see the pros)
******updated review*******Allison, the owner, handled the situation with such respect and professionalism. She offered us a tab on her and kept in touch with me throughout and after the whole situation. I couldn't have asked for it to be handled better! had a horrible experience at Sudhouse. My friends and I went for happy hour. We were not greeted at the door, and when we spoke to the bartender, he gave us an attitude. The entirety of our time there, we were getting stares and eyes rolled at us the whole time. My rum and coke was flat and gross, along with the other drinks of the people at my table. We felt very uncomfortable the whole time and will not be going back
