Henry L Hufnagle is the best coach ever! Let me tell you why! I joined MXL 6-20-19. This was my introduction to cross fit. Henry L Hufnagle has been my coach from day one. Henry is about form over anything else. I appreciate that at 54. I want to stay in shape, be strong, have a shape at 60 plus and keep moving. If you want to lift and have amazing instruction, call Henry L Hufnagle

Our family has been going to the YMCA for about 12 years now. The facilities are kept very clean. Most of the staff are very friendly and helpful. The youth aquatics program is really good - our kids started with the baby classes and worked their way to the top skill level. I feel they now have excellent swimming skills because of these classes. Some of the other youth classes are hit or miss. My son experienced some bullying in one of the sport classes and the instructors really did nothing. In the dodgeball class the other kids were so rough that my kids were getting hurt every classes and decided they didn’t want to go back any more. The gymnastics classes, on the other hand, were a favorite among my two girls. Each of my kids also seemed to enjoy the taekwando classes offered there. The only other downside at this Y is that some of the youth programs that used to be free as a member are now charged a fee. I guess some people might having been signing up and then not showing up when it was free. But I wish they hadn’t made the fees so expensive. When you factor in the annual cost of membership plus class frees for three kids it really adds up fast.

A certified trainer provides a level of personalization that a group class cannot. By focusing on your specific goals—whether that's recovering from an injury or training for a local event—you'll see faster, safer results.
Safety and expertise should be your top priorities. Ensure your coach holds a credential from a recognized body such as NASM, ACE, or ACSM. If you are looking for high-performance athletic training, look for an NSCA-certified specialist (CSCS).
One of the best ways to lower your bill is the hybrid approach. Use a personal trainer for a weekly check-in to perfect your technique, then apply what you've learned in your own solo workouts at the gym or at home.
