This is the best place I've ever gone to. The equipment is amazing and the staff are extremely helpful! If you have somewhere to go for swimming, exercising, learning, daycare, etc., this is the place to be!

From the first time I joined in 2005, I knew this was the place I wanted to exercise. The staff and those who take part in the classes are top notch. I have found new friends and a “family.” More...

Our family has been going to the YMCA for about 12 years now. The facilities are kept very clean. Most of the staff are very friendly and helpful. The youth aquatics program is really good - our kids started with the baby classes and worked their way to the top skill level. I feel they now have excellent swimming skills because of these classes. Some of the other youth classes are hit or miss. My son experienced some bullying in one of the sport classes and the instructors really did nothing. In the dodgeball class the other kids were so rough that my kids were getting hurt every classes and decided they didn’t want to go back any more. The gymnastics classes, on the other hand, were a favorite among my two girls. Each of my kids also seemed to enjoy the taekwando classes offered there. The only other downside at this Y is that some of the youth programs that used to be free as a member are now charged a fee. I guess some people might having been signing up and then not showing up when it was free. But I wish they hadn’t made the fees so expensive. When you factor in the annual cost of membership plus class frees for three kids it really adds up fast. More...
