What do you love most about your job?

I've been passionate about the incredible healing tools yoga has to offer since I was a young adult and love to share that passion with others and see them become empowered to live a happy and healthy life.

I especially like working with older adults and those with special needs.

What inspired you to start your own business?

I've been through a number of injuries in my life and successfully used yoga asana, meditation, pranayama and yogic philosophy to heal my body and ease my suffering.

My broken ankle was the most impactful of my life. I had two surgeries, received 6 screws and a plate and couldn't walk for over 4 months.

On a personal level, it was humbling to be unable to do basic tasks and movements that I had been able to do all my life. Ultimately, as I regained capability, I gained greater confidence in my ability to persevere. I feel a sense of empowerment knowing that I can heal through my own actions informed by ancient wisdom and the research of modern-day specialists.

On a professional level, these challenging injuries have been extremely informative to my work. New ways to do the poses, new ideas about what yoga really is all about and greater empathy and compassion for myself and my students all emerged. My goal is to guide and assist my clients in their own empowerment and their capability to heal themselves.

Why should our clients choose you?

If I were looking to hire a professional I would ask about their education and level of experience, particularly with working with similar clients. I would also want to know whether our personalities would be a good fit.

I offer a free consultation call with each new client to see if we are a good fit.
