1. I start each project with a free discovery call. During the call we discuss the basics of your project and answer all your questions to see if I would be a good fit for your project.
2. After the call we set up your initial in home consultation. During the consultation we go through each area you need help with and talk through things like: ideas for your project, budget, timeline, and come up with a plan for how we can best work together. After the consultation I send you a proposal with the details of what your project needs and how many hours I think it will take to complete. After you approve the proposal we move to the design phase.
3. Design Phase - this is the fun part! We work together to create a design that is fitting of your style, needs, and budget. Once the design is approved I will order and install everything for you so you can sit back, relax, and enjoy your new space!
Transitional and casual interiors with pops of color and beach houses are my favorite to work on, but I tailor each design to your specific needs and style so I can work within any style.
My favorite thing about interior design is that making the right changes to your home can have huge effects on your happiness and mental health. Having a home that reflects who you are and caters to your specific needs can make life so much easier and more enjoyable. I love seeing the look on my clients faces after every install!
There are 2 reasons that I wanted to start my own business:
1. I enjoy being a part of every part of a project from start to finish and with my own business I get to do that.
2. I have 2 young kids and having my own business gives me the flexibility to attend all of the baseball games, activities, and school parties. This is the biggest reason I do what I do. I love getting to choose where I spend my time.
This is my passion and I absolutely love what I do! Each one of my clients is special to me and I make every effort to ensure that the designs I create are going to be fitting for that particular client. I pride myself on having great customer service and I make sure that each client feels like they are my only client and have my full attention. A few other reasons are that I am constantly learning new things about my industry and I use that knowledge for the betterment of each project. Over the years I have learned all kinds of details like, how furniture is constructed and what makes one better than another, I know the ins and outs of remodeling, and tons of details about fabrics and their uses just to name a few. These details save my clients lots of time and money right from the beginning of each project. I make sure that each project is not only pretty and functional but has the quality needed to serve you and your family for as long as you need it to.
I prefer working in person (or a hybrid of in person and remote), but I do have several years of experience with working remotely so I can be flexible.
I am flexible and easy to work with so if you or your family still have concerns about Covid-19 please let me know and we will work something out. I always make sure that I am feeling my best before attending client meetings and if not, I let my clients know as soon as I can. I am also open to wearing a mask if that is requested.
