What do you love most about your job?

We love the supportive community that develops between students, staff, and parents of students. It is so satisfying when someone joins the Let's Play Music and Make Art community and we see young students growing and maturing through music and art studies. We love helping adults fulfill their musical goals and dreams and enriching lives through music and art!

What inspired you to start your own business?

Let's Play Music and Make Art has it's beginnings in the 1930' when co-director Jay Latulippe's grandparents ran music Rosita Lee Music studios along the Eastern seaboard. Jay's parents continued the tradition in 1960 when they ran Rosita Lee Music Centers. Jay and his wife, Jeanne, carried on the family tradition, starting their music school in 1993.

When you take lessons at Let's Play Music and Make Art, you will be part of a vibrant music program that includes 4 private lessons per month, 3 optional weekly group classes, practice coaching, and optional recitals, Music festivals, Band programs! With over 40 teachers to choose from, we work hard to ensure you have an instructor that is the right fit for you. Your instructor will listen to your goals and get you where you want to go the fastest most efficient way possible!

We have offered virtual lessons successfully for many years. When the pandemic first hit, we went entirely remote using Zoom, FaceTime, and Skype and received much positive feedback because of the strong preparation, planning and teacher training of our entire team. Our staff is able to guide you through navigating the technology if you would like assistance to make lessons as smooth as possible.

What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?

Students have the option to take virtual lessons at any time. In-studio, masks are required, we practice social distancing, and we have hepa filters.
