I started taking lessons with Shane through the 5 Week Introductory Special. Shane has done an excellent job at determining my level of play and adjusting the course to fit my needs. The course is structured in a way that you develop a solid foundation of knowledge and skill during the lesson and then fine tune at home through practice. After only two lessons, I am already beginning to feel a lot more comfortable and confident with the instrument. The quick progress is very motivating which is important when taking up a new hobby. I would recommend Shane and the G4 guitar school to anyone interested in learning guitar for the first time or improving previous skills.

My daughter has been taking piano lessons with Vivian since Kindergarten and for 3 and half years now. Honestly, it has been an incredible 3 and half years. She has been growing leaps and bounds, and has won multiple prizes in different state level competitions. Most importantly, she has learned to love to play and perform piano, and love music in general. Vivian's classes are always interactive and engaging. She mixes the fun with challenge. Her piano program arranges through technics, music theories, classical music and pop songs, as well as some sight reading, composing and ear training along the way. She sets up clear expectations, and at the same time, she respects and trusts her students. She encourages my daughter to take the lead, such as picking her own songs, and practicing on her own at home. In respond to her respect and trust, I see confidence, interest and self-motivation growing inside my daughter. I can't thank enough to Vivian and her school!(Li from Westwood, MA)
You simply won't find a more experienced, dedicated and passionate instructor who really cares about the student's enjoyment level and results.
I love seeing's hearing and experiencing the excitement and gratification that my students enjoy when they improve, and know that they're really learning properly. I particularly enjoy when students get up at a local Jam that I frequent and support to help my students grow, overcome stage fright, and basically learn how to play in a band/ensemble situation. But, by far, my most exciting time is when I get to actually produce a song or an album for one of students......either their own compositions or songs they cover on their record.
I started teaching part mite in High School, and I loved it, but when I graduated from Berklee College of Music, I was getting tons of requests from fellow students and local people who wanted lessons. I started small, and within 5 years open a large commercial brick and mortar school on the Main Street in a suburb of Boston.
I LOVE to teach, very passionate about helping people grow and enjoy creating music. All of students love the instruction they receive, and they really look forward to their lesson each and every week because they can very readily see, hear and fell the progress they make every week. They know my reputation, my experience, skills and methods all contribute to their very satisfying journey of accomplishing their goals in music. I am blessed to have the life I have and to be so successful doing what I love most!! ;-)
Yes, I offer lessons using SKYPE, ZOOM and other online telecom programs. I have been teaching folks from a ll around the globe remotely for the last 15 years.
We disinfect regularly, use mask when appropriate/necessary for live lessons in person in our studio, and obviously SKYPE and online lessons are rather safe.....;-)
