do not go with this company the owner was very unproffessional when i told her that i had too cancel at the last minute for three family members home sick with covid then she said the covid is no such thing so uinproffessional

My children have been taking lessons with Merry Melody for almost 5 years. We have been so lucky to have a teacher that has continued to both teach and inspire my children over the years. The opportunities for performances provide them with short-term goals to demonstrate what they have learned. My oldest has also had the opportunity to play in the "Merry Melody Rock Band" and learning to play with others has been a great learning experience in and of itself. Our 10 yr old son is in his second year with MMM Academy and we couldn't be happier with this program. Vivian is extremely professional and knowledgable. She takes her business very seriously and it shows. Currently our piano teacher is Holly and she is terrific, prior to that we had Sohyun and she was excellent as well. When we had to switch due to a scheduling conflict we were a bit nervous, but it was seamless. We have had experiences with two other schools over the last 7 years and MMM Academy has been the best all around in quality. We would highly recommend this music school to any family seeking piano lessons in the convenience of their own home. It is our pleasure to give MMM Academy the highest of praise. More...

My daughter has been taking piano lessons with Vivian since Kindergarten and for 3 and half years now. Honestly, it has been an incredible 3 and half years. She has been growing leaps and bounds, and has won multiple prizes in different state level competitions. Most importantly, she has learned to love to play and perform piano, and love music in general. Vivian's classes are always interactive and engaging. She mixes the fun with challenge. Her piano program arranges through technics, music theories, classical music and pop songs, as well as some sight reading, composing and ear training along the way. She sets up clear expectations, and at the same time, she respects and trusts her students. She encourages my daughter to take the lead, such as picking her own songs, and practicing on her own at home. A perfect balance of amazing music education with fun! The instructors know how to work with each individual student based on their unique abilities and personalities. My daughter has never once complained about her lesson or practicing because she is motivated by the song choice, performance opportunities and wonderful energy and enthusiasm of her instructors. We have had a great experience with Merry Melody Music Academy for several years now. Their large staff of instructors offer a perfect fit for any student.
We are very happy with our instructors who are always very positive and encouraging and very dependable.
They also engage our student in music that appeals to their individuality.
They offer several opportunities during the year to perform at concerts.

All three of our children have taken lessons at the Merry Melody Music Academy - piano, voice and guitar - and they all loved their experiences. Our daughter currently takes piano and guitar and is a member of the Rock Band. The lessons are invaluable to her development as a musician. The teachers are all kind, motivating and highly skilled.
