Did you know that dog training is an unregulated profession? As a result, many trainers use outdated, harmful training methods, including the use of shock collars, prong collars, choke chains, harsh treatment and physical force. Dogs are very sensitive, intelligent creatures and using these methods are very destructive to dogs - modern animal science has proven this repeatedly.

JEFF WAS hired to help with our dog, Greta, who while very smart wasn't always listening to us. JEFF was able to engage with Greta and keep her attention from the moment he walked in the door. At first during training sessions Greta gave him better attention than she gave us but somewhere along the way that all changed and she gave us her undivided attention. This has been a game changer in teaching her, it is nice to know she is working hard to learn from us. Thank you Jeff, for teaching the humans as much if not more than Greta. I have learned to listen to Greta and wait for both of us to be ready to work.

This was absolutely the best training experience I could have ever asked for! Brianna Maurer has a warm and welcoming presence that made Maizy feel calm and safe! Brianna trains in everything and more and she is highly knowledgeable in her profession. I am beyond grateful for all the wonderful things she has taught both myself and Maizy!

Seeing the twinkle in your eye when you see a breakthrough with your pup! No matter how small, we start building momentum and there's pride in your voice, I'll do a happy dance (in my head).
I started working with other people's dogs in 2017 when I got back from studying abroad. I love being outside and needed a way to do cardio besides a treadmill! So rain or shine, I showed up to walk and run big dogs in apartments. After a couple of years, I saw a need for training for big dogs as family pets. We are so lucky in Washington to be dog-friendly in a lot of aspects. Then covid hit and many older trainers walked away from the industry.
I believe not all dog trainers are meant for dog owners. Find someone you connect with. If it's me, please reach out and we'll get started! I am excited to help transform your frustration to peace because inside the home we need that more ever. Let All Ears Petcare smooth out those road bumps and provide resources for you and your dog to continue the adventure and enjoy each other!
Yes, these will be provided over zoom if need be. I do this with expecting mom with furbabies. The adjustment can be hard for your furbabies. Your safety is my highest priority.
It is up to the individual whether you'd like me to wear a mask. I am fully vaccinated (I work healthcare during the day.) I hand sanitize between clients and change out shoes depending on outside activity.
For housesitting clients: please leave cleaning products out and I will clean all spaces I've occupied the last day of the sitting to ensure nothing is passed.
