I never considered anything else. My parents always had their own, my sister has her own, and my grandma had her own. It was just natural. Also, I wanted to work for the customer, not for the boss. As an example, if a client calls and says they are low on funds, I work it out with them. I want to have the freedom to pick the best clientele and then give them my best.
Because I never give up on a pup. Some dogs train easy, some aren't easy. For the dogs that need more, I give more, and I don't charge extra for the extra time. I didn't get into this to become rich, I did this because my own dog "Soccer" could not get good training. This enspired me to help others have a great experience with learning alongside their pup.
Yes, we do this 3 ways. One is our free email class. Two is our pre-recorded online class with daily emails from me checking in. Three is over zoom (the computer or phone video) online. Many owners just need a little extra help.
We wear masks when needed. We meet ourdoors when available, or at parks. We always consider the needs of the client before our own.
