Alysa at Crimson Dog Ranch absolutely knows dogs and dog training! I have two poodle mix rescue dogs who are good tempered, but were terrible to walk. They just pulled and pulled on their leashes and made walks a miserable experience. One of our dogs was highly reactive to other dogs we would encounter on walks. Alysa worked with us and our schedule to help us reach a solution that has changed everything about our dog walks. Now, our dogs are a pleasure to walk and we enjoy taking them on long walks. Alysa also showed us many other dog training techniques that have worked out very well. Alysa has a real depth of knowledge of many different techniques that enables her to modify her approach to fit the dog and the situation as needed. She was responsive, reliable, and we especially appreciated her follow-up to help us reinforce what we learned. I cannot recommend her highly enough!

Stephen Meck is a wonderful, knowledgable, positive trainer, who is excellent with both his canine and human students! I can’t imagine a nicer person to work with, or to trust my GS puppy with training.
I learned the hard way that it is the follow- through and consistent rewards for the dog’s desired behavior that makes the training “stick” in the dog’s developing brain. You can have the best trainer anywhere (Stephen!) but it is the human client’s behavior that makes or breaks the training.
After a couple falls, i followed Stephen’s directions, and am thrilled by the lovely nearly year old dog i can now enjoy!!!
If you want a loving, safe pet and are ready to follow his training expertise, definitely hire Stephen Meck! I am so thankful i did!

I have a 3+ year old Border Collie/German Shepherd mix (Olive) who has been a tough one to train for her on-leash aggression. It has been such a pleasure working with Kari and I love that Olive has been so receptive to her training methods - as they say, 4th Trainer is the charm! I tried all the "new" training methods and groups, but for whatever reason, they never really clicked for my poor girl - even with me keeping on top of all the training!
I can't believe how great Olive's been and how far she's come in the 6 lessons I've had with Kari. Olive really took to Kari and her instructions and, oh, how far she's come since working with Kari! I can't recommend Kari enough!
