I train behavioral conditioning along with obedience.
The reason that so many training programs fail is the emphasis on obedience over behavior. Obedience is what you tell a dog to do, behavior is what your dog chooses to do.

Rich was a great choice for our German shepard for training. Upon our first phone call with Rich before we had even gotten our dog yet Rich took a hour of his time on the phone to explain to us his process and answered all our questions. This stood out to us and we knew we were making the right choice choosing to train with him. Rich continues to offer us training help and reaches out to us to see the progress of training and offers assistance far after our original training with our pup. The important thing with training is you're being trained the owner just as much as your dog is if not more. Rich will give you all the information to continue everything at home and build your confidence to make sure your pup continues on his training progress far after his boarding. Strongly recommend! Life-Changing Results with K-9 Reset!
We are beyond grateful for the transformation we’ve seen in Layka since starting the K‑9 Reset training program with Rich.
Her behavior has significantly improved—she now listens to commands, no longer harasses our 15-year-old chihuahua, and has even formed a peaceful friendship with my daughter’s cat. Watching them sleep side by side and eat together without conflict is something I never thought possible.
Thanks to this training, my work-life balance has improved 100%. I can now focus on work without worrying about chaos at home. Even better—my husband and I have been able to enjoy date nights again without returning to a house turned upside down. Layka no longer roughhouses with her siblings or destroys things out of boredom or anxiety.
While Layka still has some learning ahead, the strong foundation Rich provided has empowered not only Layka but also our entire family to keep up the training with confidence and consistency. It’s truly been a joy to see her growth.
If you’re looking for a responsible, committed, and knowledgeable trainer, I wholeheartedly recommend Rich. His expertise made all the difference—and we couldn’t have done it without him.

I can thank Rich enough for how he helped us with our girls. Although, lovable our girls Gertie and Makenzie were running the house and fight each other for attention.
Rich gave us the tools and knowledge to become the pack leaders and demand respect from our dogs. Gertie came home from boot camp a much well behaved girl and her sister Makenzie now understands the dynamics and is much more at ease in her environment. There is nothing more important than our dogs well being and thanks to Rich at K9 reset our home is on order.
Thank you again Maureen

We sent our 1-year-old golden retriever, Hobbs, to K9 Reset for a board and train, and couldn’t be happier with the experience!
We were super nervous about leaving him, but Rich was fantastic from the start—he kept in constant contact, sharing updates, videos, and photos that made us feel completely at ease.
Hobbs is strong, full of energy, and we needed help teaching him how to harness it in a positive way. Thanks to Rich, we’ve made huge progress—especially with leash walking—and we finally feel like we have the tools to succeed. What really sets Rich apart is that even after the program ended, he’s continued to be available for questions and support.
Training a puppy is definitely a continuous process, but K9 Reset gave us the foundation we needed. We highly recommend Rich to anyone looking for real results and a trainer who truly cares!

Rich at K9 Reset is incredible. Beau, our fabulous 4 year old Great Pyrenees, had learned how to survive while living on the streets of Dallas, and to say he was a “wild thing” is an understatement.
He was EXPERT at resource guarding, barking, counter surfing, pulling on his leash, jumping on people, lunging at trucks, etc. and needed to unlearn these behaviors and learn how to live in a home as part of our family. My basic training with this boy was not cutting it.
From my first conversation with Rich I knew this was the turning point that Beau/we needed. He spent one week at Rich’s facility in Salem, learning each of the skills that are helping him be the best dog he can be and Rich patiently showed us how to continue his training at home.
I can’t express enough how wonderful it is to see Beau’s positive response to his training. We all needed this as now he is a joy to be with - he is clearly more relaxed and happy and showing what a great family guy he is becoming.
I wish I had reached out to Rich sooner and urge anyone in a similar situation to not hesitate and to give him a call.

We took our dog Mishka to Rich for help with separation anxiety, aggression and just not listening in general. We met with Rich two times and then dropped Mishka off with him for the full training week. Getting her back, we immediately noticed she was more relaxed, affectionate and obedient. The biggest change however was in our relationship with Mishka. Rich stressed this big time in our meetings and it truly makes a huge difference. He has provided us with the necessary tools and knowledge to continue training Mishka and we are super grateful for this. He is an amazing teacher (for both dogs and humans) and the results of his training are night and day. Would highly recommend Rich to anyone in need of dog help!! More...

I can’t say enough wonderful things about Rich! Before the board and train, my dog was extremely protective of me. I dreaded taking him for walks because he would get reactive and it felt stressful for both of us.
After spending time with Rich and his wife, the transformation has been incredible. My dog came home calmer, more confident, and so much easier to manage. Walks are now enjoyable instead of nerve-wracking, and I feel like I finally get to have the relationship with my dog that I always wanted.
What I loved most was that Rich not only worked wonders with my dog, but also took the time to teach me how to keep the training consistent. They were patient, professional, and truly cared about setting us both up for success.
If you’re struggling with a dog who feels unmanageable, I cannot recommend K9 Reset enough. The difference is night and day—I finally feel hopeful and proud when I take my dog out into the world.

We sent our 1 year old male GSD mix to training with Rich and let me tell you he came home a brand new dog. Before training he was anxious, could never just settle down and relax, struggled with recall, and typically barked at unfamiliar people and dogs. Now he is substantially less anxious, settles when instructed, and even settled on a walk the other day talking to a neighbor he didn’t know! Rich is so attentive and truly cares about your pup. We got frequent updates, videos, and pictures during the week. We highly highly recommend Rich & K9 reset. More...

I can’t say enough great things about K9 Reset and Rich! I had first called him over a year ago, and he was so patient answering all my questions.
I really wish I had started sooner. I recently brought my German Shepherd, Sage, for a board and train while I was on vacation, and the experience was fantastic.
Her reactivity to certain triggers has gone down significantly, and she’s so much calmer overall. Walking her is now an absolute pleasure. She walks beautifully on leash. I also really appreciated the training updates Rich sent while I was away, which gave me peace of mind and let me see her progress in real time.
I highly recommend K9 Reset to anyone looking for a patient, knowledgeable trainer who truly cares about the dogs he works with. Sage is a happier, more balanced dog thanks to Rich.

Rich did a great job training our 3 year old dog, Jaxon! He was patient yet strict with setting boundaries which made the transition home easier. Rich was really patient with my daughter and me when he was showing us the training process. He was really clear and was able to answer questions about the process and many other things.
My daughter and I talked it over and decided to go forward with Rich.
It was one of the best decisions we made with Bruno our black Shepherd
His obedience makes our lives easier and he is happy since he doesn’t need to be on guard all the time. He is so much calmer.
We took him to a restaurant and asked the waitress if we could bring him to our table that was outside. She said of course.
It was amazing! He laid at our feet and was very peaceful just being there.
I can’t say enough about how good Rich is with dogs and owners of the dogs.
I highly recommend Rich. Go for a one on one with him and you’ll see what I mean.

Came to Rich (who we found on Bark) with an 85 pound, 9 month old Shepherd mix who was reactive, impulsive, difficult to walk and in constant need of attention/entertainment. Yes, Rich did a great job in training him, but more importantly taught him to calm down, and taught us how to manage him. He's only been home for two weeks and we have a completely different dog. He's happier, we're happier and we've only just begun. I highly recommend Rich; he has helped us to get the dog we want and need. More...

I can’t say enough good things about Rich! From the moment we spoke with him on the phone , it was clear he was incredibly knowledgeable and passionate about helping dogs (and their owners!
). We came to him with a few challenges with our 9 month old Bernadoodle —primarily off-leash and on-leash walking—and some general house manner issues.
His approach was patient, consistent, and tailored to our dog’s specific needs. We did the 1 week board and train and he broke down each skill step-by-step, ensuring that we not only understood the techniques but could confidently apply them when we took our dog home. Our dog went from pulling on walks to walking calmly beside us, both on and off-leash. The difference in her behavior at home was just as impressive—no more jumping up, or barking excessively.
This was the best decision we made and could not be more happy with how much of a positive impact training with Rich has made for our family.

I can't recommend Rich enough! From the moment we started working with him, it was clear he truly understood our 1 year old
English Yellow Lab, Moe. Moe had some behavioral issues that we were struggling to manage (jumping, mouthing, tendencies of feeling anxious at moments) but Rich created a tailored training plan during his 6 night board and train that was both effective and compassionate. He and his wife Sue used positive reinforcement techniques that not only helped us see results, but also strengthened the bond between us and Moe. What I appreciated most was Rich’s patience and clear communication via text throughout the week training and beyond. He made sure we understood the training methods and were always available to answer questions or offer additional tips. We are thankful for Rich and his expertise as our dog is more receptive, well-mannered, and happier in general. It's evident that Rich genuinely cares about the well-being of every dog he works with. If you're looking for a trainer who is knowledgeable, professional, and truly passionate about dogs, Rich is the one to go to!

I recently had an incredible experience with my dog, Shadow, who I’ve had for a total of six months now. After a one-week boarding and training stay, it’s been three weeks since I picked him up, and I’m so impressed with the changes! Shadow no longer suffers from separation anxiety; he used to hyperventilate and sweat in his crate, but now he’s calm and comfortable being alone. One year ago, my husband and I rescued two full grown female pitbulls that were abandoned together, tied to a fence. They didn’t know any commands and had never been on a leash before us. Even As experienced dog owners, we struggled in every walk with them. Through social media, we found Rich at K9 Reset. We did two classes as a group and immediately saw results with their leash skills. One of our dogs required a little more in depth training so we opted for the week course where she went to stay with Rich. She came back a very disciplined and well behaved dog. She was so well trained that the dog we didn’t send to the week course seemed to learn from the one we did. We kept on the strict discipline for 60 or so days based on Rich’s guidance and it truly made a difference long term. It has been a year and both dogs are amazing on leash for walks and can't be bothered with distractions. They are often barked at, but maintain their focus and ignore it. Today, and for the first time, we let them off leash on a trail near our home and they walked beside us the entire time and followed every command. We couldn’t be more satisfied with Rich and the training he did with our pups. Even after a year, he will always answer us with any follow up questions we have. I do want to mention, training isn’t a magic fix. You will need to put in the work too and you can’t go back to the “status quo” with your pup. Rich will give you the guidance and the tools you need to keep the momentum and training going. We can’t thank Rich enough for how much he helped us and our girls! More...

We have 2 golden retrievers and they are quite a handful. At first we wanted to try out a puppy day school and it didn’t go so well. . we were struggling so hard with off leash and leash walking, running away, not listening, the normal things puppies do but we did not know how to navigate this at all… we did some research and so many places wanted to either board our puppies for like 4k each and unable to see them for 2 weeks or very little training…. We came across k9 reset and had a great convo in the beginning with rich on the phone and he was a super kind guy. We got some insight on what to do before the eval to make our lives a bit easier and boy did it help. Once we dropped our pups off we got daily updates on what they learned and cute videos of our boy Finn in the crate! He HATED the crate to say the least… now we are able to leave and have him in the crate! We can even sleep until 9 (only weekends) Rich has been such a big help. I really recommend him. He’s so helpful on how to walk and use the ecollar as well. As a 22 year old who has no idea what the heck they are doing… he makes it 100x easier to understand and navigate puppy to adult dog life. Also new dog parents… don’t be scared of the ecollar like I was! It is an amazing tool. Our babies easily know what the buzz feature means and listen. We went on our first unleashed walk the other day and the progress between these 2 are impeccable and incredible. I highly recommend Rich. Without him we would have been stuck with non listeners and leash pullers and crying crate babies. More...

Thank you Rich for your professionalism, kindness and guiding and teaching me how to be a better leader for my frenchie Estelle.
Before K9 Reset, Estelle my sweet frenchie was rehomed with me and my family by a close friend of mine at 5mo’s old due to her owner moving and not able give her the care needed. Estelle was energetic and fun, I started with the basics of rehouse breaking, establishing house rules, simple commands, I had a frenchie prior and she was so easy, I thought Estelle would be just as easy.
Fast forward 5mo’s I found myself with a challenge of not being able to fully understand the needs of Estelle, she was running out the door whenever I tried to leave the house, aggression towards other dogs, jumping and nipping at my sleeves whenever I tried to leave the house, jumping over gates, resource guarding my family, me, toys, certain rooms, even our walks were erratic, exhausting, I couldn’t understand her needs. I discovered K9 reset through hours of digging through the internet and making calls to other facilities that wanted to keep Estelle for a month, or promised to “fix her” in 2 home visits.
Meeting Rich was a miracle for me and Estelle, he helped me to be a better leader, helped Estelle to be more in control of her actions and hold her responsible for her choices. We are now a few months post K9 Reset and training and Estelle is the best girl, her listening, recall, obedience, are beyond being a good girl, our walks are enjoyable, bonding and peaceful. As Estelle was learning I also was learning, myself and my whole family are better leaders and examples for her, she has excelled and thriving, we love her and couldn’t have done this without Rich. A millions thank you’s are not enough!!!

Cannot say enough positive things about Rich and his training program! I was feeling overwhelmed with my dog and felt like I was never going to get her to behave better. From the initial call, Rich was empathetic towards my situation and was confident that he would be able to make improvements. Shortly after my dog had 2 training sessions with Rich which provided instant results and I was put at ease. Throughout this process Rich was very communicative and made it known that this journey was not only about your dog learning new behaviors, but also learning how to act towards and with your dog. After her board and train, my dog has made drastic improvements and is a less nervous and more obedient. Even after the board and train Rich is checking in to see how my dog is doing and really cares about my dog’s progress. More...

Rich is an exceptional dog trainer who completely transformed my dog Bruin’s life. Before I met Rich, Bruin struggled with basic obedience and socialization.
Throughout several board and train sessions, Rich kept me thoroughly informed about Bruin’s progress. His consistent communication made me feel involved and confident in the process. Rich not only trained Bruin but also took the time to train me on how to continue the progress at home.
Now, I feel much more comfortable taking Bruin around others because Rich taught me exactly how to handle any situation. He always asks how Bruin is doing and genuinely cares about our ongoing success. Rich was able to relate to my struggles and provided the support I needed. I’ve never seen Bruin happier than when he sees Rich—it’s like he’s meeting his rock star idol! Rich’s methods are effective, compassionate, and tailored to each dog’s needs. What can I say about Rich? A true dog whisper. In fact that is how he is listed in my phone. We were so impressed during our eval that we booked a board and train.
Our pup didn't do so well with strangers. But after meeting Rich for the first time he was able to take our pup for a walk around. Then when we returned for our e collar training, Rich was actually able to put his collar on. It was an amazing sight. Gave us hope. We were so amazed with the process in 2 short visits we signed up for the board and train. Rich stayed in touch during the time away. Sent videos etc. We were highly impressed upon picking up our pup. He was like a different dog in such a short time. All along this process I have made sure to give Rich his props. He is truly a miracle worker. He helped us establish a new foundation and now we have something to go on. I am hopeful. And the training doesn't stop. Rich stays in touch and tells us he is always there for us as well.
I would highly recommend him. Infact I already have. A true reset cant think of a more fitting name.

In late January, my wife and I attended a wedding out of town, and this would be the first time Tully (a 7-month-old Portuguese Water dog) would be away from us for an extended period.
Rich was fantastic in his communication with us while we were away and sent us daily videos of her progress in training. We were very nervous to leave her, but Rich completely understood and took the time in the weeks leading up to her training session to make us more comfortable and meet with us several times to get to know him. His training videos and updates quickly reassured us that we did the right thing in trusting Rich with our puppy as we could see immediate improvement, and we were very impressed with her progress by the end of a week in Rich’s care. Since picking her up (~6 weeks), we have noticed an incredible transformation in Tully. Some of the aspects we needed assistance with were her jumping on counters while preparing food, recalling off-leash, and jumping on people when they entered our house. Rich laid the foundation for us, and we continued with his training methods. We have noticed a tremendous change in her temperament, but this has not changed her active personality. We were afraid that training too early would change Tully’s personality; however, Rich was able to alleviate all our concerns and assured us that Tully would still be able to be a puppy but would begin to learn what is acceptable/safe behavior. This is precisely what happened; she started learning what good behavior was and how she was rewarded for it.
Since her time training with Rich, he has reached out on multiple occasions asking how Tully is doing and how WE are doing, using the skills to ensure that this change in her behavior remains. Through our interactions with Rich (before the week-long training), he made us feel comfortable with his techniques and methods, which have proven effective. Tully will try to test her boundaries (being cheeky), but Rich has made it clear that we are now in charge of enforcing what is/is not acceptable/safe behavior. Rich has continued to be very gracious in his communication and is still willing to answer any questions we may have months after sending Tully to K9 Reset.
I cannot thank Rich enough for his guidance and for treating Tully like his own dog when he was providing care/training for her. When we came to pick up Tully, there were times when she would gravitate towards him, which meant the world to us, as she trusted him. To build a bond in a short amount of time speaks to Rich’s passion and dedication to what he does.

Rich is an absolutely incredible trainer-- and I say this as an owner and also as a dog trainer myself. I reached out to Rich a year ago for help with my aggressive (with a 5 count bite list), reactive, 7lb chihuahua who was going through the adolescent stage (1 yr) and was impossible to housetrain (or so I thought).
My dog loves HIS people but disliked ANYONE else and would not hesitate to bite. I was at my wit's end and knew I needed a trainer who, unlike myself at the time, was e collar saavy. I chose Rich to work with for a number of reasons. Firstly, he has the dogs with him in his home for the board and train-- he doesnt kennel your dog in a separate building overnight. That is huge to me! After speaking to a handful of trainers who incorporated e collars into training, I decided to give K9 Reset a try because not only was Rich extremely knowledgeable but he is kind and respectful and really took his time to talk to me openly about his process and protocols, to reassure me and address my concerns (regarding the misinformation surrounding e collars) and that essentially my dog wouldn't be harmed, and ensured that my dog would benefit from the training. Even as a trainer, I definitely had concerns because of the plethora of misinformation out there regarding e collars and anything that deviates from all positive/force free so I was cautious, but I was also ready for and needed change.
Fast forward to today-- a year from my dog's board and train and he is a totally different dog! He is 100% housebroken, never has accidents in the house, he loves his crate and sleeps there every night- no problems at all and he stays dry all night long. I take my dog hiking and for walks and he is so well behaved that no one knows he's not friendly until I inform them (and that no, he doesn't want to say hello)-- he is calm and walks so good with me. He can walk by people or dogs and no reaction-- even children. My dog still isn't "friendly" to strangers but now he behaves so differently and so much better and calmer-- which is what I hoped for. As a trainer and owner, I want to express... it is imperative to follow through and continue the training after your dog comes home no matter where they train. Rich shares so much information regarding your dog and how to continue the training with them at home so you can be successful. I not only became a better owner because of Rich but also a much better trainer! At the go home session, I got to meet Rich's wife Sue and both of them shared so much valuable information and feedback about my dog that truly helped me to be more objective when I work with my dog. I owe so much thanks to them both.
Rich taught me so much and anytime I have issues, I reach out and he is there. I also have a german shepherd and have done 3 sessions with Rich during times where I needed an objective opinion and effective help. I can't tell you how much I appreciate everything Rich has done and taught me-- his help has been invaluable! I know many trainers and have worked side by side with many--- Rich is truly one of the best trainers in the area!
Whether your dog is large, medium, small, or teacup... if you want to change their problem behavior and create positive change... you are in GREAT hands with Rich. You won't regret it or be disappointed and you'll absolutely see results.

We found Rich through the highly regarded reviews here and have returned to reiterate the same! We brought our 7mo Bracco Italiano to him. She could not walk on her leash, jumping up on guests was an issue, and only listened to us on her own terms. After our first session with Rich when we received the prong collar, we were finally able to take her for meaningful walks and are still able to do so every day. We followed up and did another session with the ecollar, which made a huge difference in her recall and behavior. We dropped her off for a week long boarding with Rich and picked her up as a brand new dog. The whole time she was with him, he sent us pictures and videos throughout the week and gave us a list of ongoing instructions to keep up with the training upon departure. She consistently listens to us now, we are able to take her to the dog park with no issues and is much better about greeting guests. Rich has consistently followed up with us on how things are going and helps when new things may come up. He also made it very clear that we may return if any new issues arise. We would highly recommend Rich to train your dog. More...

Hi Alec, Thank you so much, Gemma is such a good girl, stay on her, the dog she is today won’t be the same dog in six months or a year from now. But she is sweet😉

Rich is amazing with my dog. Sadie has gone through many trainers and when I moved to Massachusetts I was worried about who I could board her with. Rich was accommodating, worked with me and my dog. Sadie is much calmer on walks. While she was boarded I was updated often with texts and videos. This made me feel so much more comfortable with boarding her. I will be using Rich every time I need to board my dog! More...

So it's 90 days post training with Rich. My neighbor just stopped me on the street and said "my goodness your dog seems so relaxed!
What happened?"
I thought I had great control over my 4 yr old rescue dog until in recent months she started to become very reactive to other dogs on the leash. I live in downtown Salem, so the last thing I can or want to do is avoid people and their pets. And because she had grown up as a puppy on the streets of Houston, Texas she was given to eating absolutely ANYTHING! I've had her in the emergency room 3 times this year and was worried that the next trip would be fatal. I had so seclude her when I had company because she would just surf the counters for food and make everyone uncomfortable. I was also losing recall; she was startingto ignore me. So I was afraid I would not be able to get her to respond to me in an emergency situation. I was desperate and lucky to find Rich!
Rich is amazing! Within minutes of our first meeting he could tell that my timid by nature dog had become quite dominant in the relationship. The more fearful I became of her behavior, the more reactive and protective she became of me! The first time we met we started with the choke collar. I hate the name because the whole point of using it is to have a very loose hold on the leash and not to ever choke your dog. After one meeting Rich sent us away to practice. At our second meeting he showed us how to work with the eCollar. This is another tool that has a bad reputation because people don't know how to use it appropriately. Rich was a fantastic instructor!
Finally, we started week-long over night training. I was really hesitant to leave her, because we had already had to get over abandonment issues when I first adopted her. For a dog that can be quite timid around people, especially men, she had no hesitation going to Rich or watching me walk out the door. She knew he was safe! Rich sent me short videos each day to show how she was responding to training, and getting along overall.
When I picked her up at weeks end, rich worked with us giving me specific details on how to work with the tools she had been trained with. The first couple weeks I was not a 100% consistent. UntiI I realized she thought the rules applied only when Rich was around. She was beginning to slip back into undesirable behavior. I got the message quickly that I had to stick with the plan if I really wanted to see success; not only for the time and investment, but for our relationship and overall happiness day to day.
Its 90 days later and I use the tools regularly. Although she is responding to commands quicker without there use. She's become quite a "good citizen" and will actually wait patiently with food in front of her until I give her the release command to eat it. I can leave the room and come back and she's still sitting there waiting patiently! Still, I realize she's a dog and by nature she will test me again, but I have the tools, language and commands to help her get back on track.
Rich checks regularly and I've been able to reach out to him when I have a question. Most recently Rich suggested working with a remote camera so that I can monitor her when I'm not there. (She likes to get into my closet and she has ruined several coats.)
If you are concerned about your dog's behavior do not hesitate to work with Rich. The training tools and tips that he provides will help them feel safe in their environment, knowing that you are in full charge. Then they can relax and be the best doggo ever!

Rich is an excellent trainer. My husky Loki was a spoiled dog and was allowed to do whatever he wants. So he had a lot of behavioral issues and could care less about what I wanted him to do. Our walks weren’t great, he listened to commands when he feels like it, loves to mark, he also escaped a couple times by removing his harness/leash, and jumping. After a week with Rich our walks have improved drastically. He actively checks in with me when we walk, listens more to commands, and is better in public spaces (less marking, easier to control, less reactivity to dogs and small animals). It is important to continue the training at home. I am happy with the service I was provided, and feel that my relationship with my dog is better for it. More...

So glad I found K9 reset. I contacted Richard for help with my 1 year old dog Archie (yorkie). I was having a hard time having him follow simple commands and our walks were terrible. My dog would bark at other dogs as soon as he saw them. It seemed the only way to have a peaceful walk was to walk him at night so that we wouldn’t encounter other dogs. After contacting Richard, he explained the services that he offered, we agreed that boarding would be best in our case. After completing one week of boarding I can see great improvement in Archie’s behavior. Richard explained in detail what he did in training and how to implement the same routine at home. Now I am able to take Archie out for walks and be confident that he will not go crazy as soon as he sees other dogs. He listens to commands and it is all around easier to be out with him. Thank you Richard. More...

Our shih-tzu is incredibly stubborn and impossible to train through standard approaches (treats, toys, praise). We sent him to Rich for a week of boarding/training. Rich dramatically improved our dog’s receptiveness to following commands, taught him multiple commands, and even more impressively, improved his confidence to the point where is no longer skittish around people or most other dogs and has stopped nearly all nuisance barking. Rich also provided us with all of the tools and instructions (very clearly given) needed for continuing training. We highly recommend Rich. More...

Thank you Cam, it was great to see Qiqi come so far, and even better that he’s continuing to improve at home.

The best trainer ever!
I was heartbroken, thinking i may have had to give up my beloved tiny companion, a one and a half year old Yorkie.
She barked at everything, woke me up barking at 4 am , attacked visitors to my home, attacked people on the street while on her leash, bit people’s ankles, including my children and grandchildren. She barked out of the car windows, and basically attacked anyone who came near me.
Rich saved my dog by educating ME about how dogs think. I began to understand that she thought she had to protect me, and as such was always on duty.
MY behavior had to change so that she could relax. There were many things I could change .
Amazingly, she trusted Rich immediately.
He took her for a week , and modeled the behaviors I would need to learn in order for her to relax. He let her know that he was in charge. He sent videos showing her progress, and when I picked her up he taught ME what to do, and most importantly WHY it worked , because of how dogs think. It all made sense. He wants dogs to have good lives. And people to understand their best friends. He is a
compassionate dog whisperer , and an educator. I’m extremely grateful to K-9Reset. I have my companion back for life.

Richard is very knowledgeable and trained our Siberian husky way better than we thought was possible. Our husky is very stubborn, but Richard was able to get him to listen and respond. The difference is amazing and we are so glad we found him. Definitely choose him to train your dog! More...
