I have always had a passion for working with dogs and their owners. My goal with Migrating Manners is to help owners understand how to best communicate with their dogs using modern, cutting-edge methods.
I started my career at the young age of 16. I started by apprenticing under other professional trainers, shadowing their daily routines, lessons, and client interactions. During those several years, I also spent time studying various methods of training, landing on a unique approach combining the technical skill and intuition handed down by other professionals, with my own passion and understanding of the individual dog in front me. I continue to expand my knowledge by frequently attending dog training seminars and taking various courses.
In my spare time, I enjoy hiking with my dogs, traveling, and training my Malinois for the sport of French Ring — a dog sport testing a dog’s obedience, agility, and protection skills. This precision-based sport that includes trialing, judging, and constant feedback from peers allows me to expand her approach to not only highly trained working dogs, but pet dogs, too.

Board and train programs are an efficient way to achieve successful, long-lasting training results with your dog.
During a board and train program, your dog will receive several training sessions a day, they will get plenty of exercise, and will have the opportunity for socialization with other dogs. Training sessions will be done in a variety of environments, as we take your dog on training field trips often throughout their program to ensure the behaviors they learn can still be performed around real-life distractions! Some of these field trips may include hikes, outings to parks, dog-friendly stores, coffee shops and more.
We make it a priority to keep owners up-to-date with regular photo and video updates of your dog’s progress throughout their training program with us!
