I would definitely recommend OHLR for any event. We had them do the music at my daughter's wedding reception. They had to coordinate the background and dance music with some intermittent performance from a live band, and did an amazing job. They worked very hard to make sure everyone was happy with the music and making sure the Playlist was in the correct order. I was so impressed with how they were prepared for any contingency and flexible in last minute changes. Equipment was awesome as well as the lights made for such a fun dance party. They went out of their way to make bride and groom the center of attention. 5 stars
I have a lifetime of experience playing the music that excites people and makes them feel good. I got tired of listening to crappy music played on inferior sound systems you get from other DJ's so I became one. I bought the best sound system money can buy and I created playlists of music that everyone loves, you wont have to put up with crappy songs, they are all excellent.

DJ Keven is very professional; he arrived well dressed and well mannered. I was immediately impressed.
He arrived 2 hrs before the start time, had his system set up in 30 minutes. Then he played some of the most beautiful instrumental music I have ever heard until the event started. When the event started he made the announcements then played the music according to the plan. He has an amazing voice, reminds me of James Earl Jones. His sound system was the best I have ever heard, sounded so good. He played music, made the announcements, ran the laser show and it was so much fun. My event was a complete success thanks to DJ Keven. He is amazing!

The secret is to be able to read the crowd and tell what to play next. You always wanna cater to the people that are on the dance floor and choose specific songs to get them dancing. Making good song decisions is key to keeping the party going all night long.
My style is simple but with good flow. I think of it as "flowing like water". Having good transitions and good matchups with songs is key to the way I DJ. Every song flows together so nothing feels suddenly out of place (unless it's intentional).
I love music, being able to play music, and putting things together that you normally wouldn't think of is incredibly rewarding to me. Music is one of those universal languages that everyone understands and DJing has allowed me to learn more about how music works and broaden my library to new and old artists.
I started learning how to DJ when I was in high school and I mostly just taught myself how to use turntables and making my own projects. Over the years, I practiced a lot and learned a variety of tips from other DJs including a family friend of mine. By the time I was a senior in high school, I had been DJing for almost 4 years and I thought becoming my an independent/freelance DJ would give me the chance to branch out and maybe even find more opportunities to DJ in the future.
I'm very flexible in terms of scheduling as well as prices and I'm incredibly versatile in terms of what music I play and I'm very open to customizing my playlist in order to satisfy your needs. If you want a high energy DJ who can also bust out a few moves on the dance floor, then I'm your man.
It's important for me to stay safe during the Covid-19 pandemic and the same things goes for everybody at the event. I do my best to sanitize myself and my equipment before, during, and after attending events. I will wear a mask for most events and will do my best to maintain social distancing. You will not see leave my post very often if ever just to be at a safe distance from party-goers. I would highly recommend that customers make sure that everyone attending is healthy before and after the event in order to slow the spread of Covid-19.
