Ray was hired for my best friends wedding this last Saturday. Not only was he 45 mins late but also was not prepared or up to date with any of the timeline previously agreed on. He’s not professional and was rude when bridesmaids and groomsmen try to help him. PSA to all other brides…Please hire someone younger or use your own Bluetooth rather than paying this man to ruin your big day. I wish I could say one good thing but I honestly can not. Sorry Pocatello, I will not be back because of these two. They both lie. I was 15 min late. It did not even matter as the bride made the whole thing later. Her best friend. You cannot please people sometimes. Read my other reviews, they are truthful. All 5 stars as they should be !!!

We hired Ray to be the DJ for our wedding. I sent him the address of the venue, gave him a description of what the building looked like, and he was 45 minutes late due to not being able to find the venue. Turns out he didn’t put the address in correctly. Upon arrival, my wedding party helped unload his things. Before setting up he had to use the restroom. We were supposed to be starting the ceremony. We started at least 30 minutes late. I (the bride) gave him everything he needed. Outlined the entire day. Picked every song and gave him the detailed description of when to play each song. He ruined every single song of the ceremony. Ruined my big moment. Started playing my song to walk down the aisle and as soon as I came out he skipped to the next song. He never did any announcing. Couldn’t do anything that I actually asked him to do. Enjoyed talking to my guests more than being a DJ and played the same song 6 times before changing it. My bridal party and mom had to keep telling him which song was next and when to play it. Would not recommend and would never rehire. More...

All I did was compliment Emma. It was her fault it all went wrong and she told me that. I talk to everyone as I am very friendly. If the playlist played the same song 6 times, she made is and told me to shuffle the songs. I was a bit late as the building us a GPS nightmare. Not as late as she was to get started by any means. I don't know why she chose to take it all out on me, but it was great most of the time. Sorry Emma you had such a bad day. Ray

My biggest dream for my wedding and my entire reason for booking a DJ was that I wanted people to truly dance at my wedding. Ray did that and more. Professional, on time, very pleasant, they played the genre of music we requested and had excellent equipment.

Ray and his wife, Eathel, were wonderful with our school group of ages 12-18 year olds. We started out carefully in a line dance, then some grouping, then into full blown square dancing. Ray and his doll of a wife, Eathel, were the hired DJ for our son's bar mitzvah. They were prompt (early, which I loved), lively, personable; just generally a fun couple that we are so pleased to have secured for DJing. Ray had never done the hora before, but he did some research on his end to ensure he carried out the chair dance exactly as it was to be done - and he nailed it. He taught us the electric slide, and he did a fun "song request" portion. It was GREAT! We have two more bar mitzvahs coming up over the next few years, and I don't even have to think about who I'll be calling to DJ. Ray was so kind and friendly with our students! He played our preferred playlist and that helped us be able to be confident the content was appropriate for teens. :) There were a couple glitches with the Spotify playlist when we had to start and stop the music for royalty announcement, and some songs repeated for some reason. This could be fixed if customers and Ray did a quick practice run to ensure everything starts, stops, and skips when needed and the playlist is played in the preferred order without repeats. We gave Ray two playlists to play at our wedding. He showed up on time and played our first one exactly as we wanted. After our first dance, he skipped our playlist and put on his own. We were OK with this but we put a lot of work into our own playlist and feel strongly about music and so we asked him to put our playlist back on. He was upset, left his table, and complained to us that he put our music on and no one was dancing. (It was because the room was hot and everyone went out for a break.) We did give him the liberty to play his own music if people needed encouragement but his pushback and negativity when we asked him to put our playlist on was immature and unprofessional. Stop your search. Ray and Eathel are fantastic. Hire them now! They bring their own sound system, microphone and music. They were so easy to communicate with, prompt and will be the life of your party. Very satisfied!

Ray was so much fun, and tried so hard to get the people going even though the crowd just wanted to sit. He went out on the dance floor and started dancing himself, and he even taught 2 parts to the Macarena. They were amazing and so helpful at my sister in law's vow renewal. There was confusion on our end about the order of events with the plastlists, he was so kind and helped us organize everything to go much smoother. There was also a miscommunication from my sister in law about the time frame of services and they were more than willing to help us by rearranging their schedule so the reception could last longer.
