Vibes Vibes Vibes. I only play music that makes ppl want to dance and move from side to side. I let my transition mixes do that talking as apose to getting on the mic and yelling for 4 hours. I also pride myself in playing music most ppl havent heard before. So half of my catelog library are new songs that are not mainstream but very good. I trust my ears and taste as apose to following what everyone else is playing.
I love taking ppl away from the issues, problems and drama they may have at home even if its for a few hours to make them dance. Even if they are not dancers theres no better feeling then getting the headknob from the guy in the back that im doing a great job and playing the right songs. Or the woman on the side asking me the name of this song so she can download the song.
Music is something I would do for free and did do for free before i started this business. I was always music inclined and was playing multiple instruments since 10 years of age. I was the young church kid that would fill in when the drummer couldn’t make ir or the guitarist was running late. So it only made since since i’ve always been musically inclined.
A great Dj can ease pain or stress people can be going through. They take ppl on a mental vacation with a collection of songs that hit them in the right place on the soul. Thats what I aim to do everytime . I give it 100% everytime because there may be someone at the event that really needs this therapy im about to deliver.
