In summary Omar's service, timing, and music selections are 'FABULOUS with 'AMAZING' Service!!! After speaking with several DJ's, some not available on the date we needed them, or they were way over priced, or, better yet, any added request was another $$. Then Omar contacts us to ask if we still needed a DJ. We spoke and immediately connected. He understood my struggle of providing music for a 'dual celebration birthday party' for our niece who was turning 16 while making sure those at the party for my brother's 50th were also pleased with the music. Omar Nailed it! All Teenagers were happy with Omar's selections for them and the 'adults' were pleased as well. Omar provided music from artists from the USA, Mexico, Colombia and from other parts of the world, so Salsa, Harry Styles, and Mariachi Music were played. Everyone from adults to teenagers where dancing while truly enjoying the music selections. Omar did a fabulous JOB! His pricing is very reasonable. He too had a great time as my brother's mother-in-law who used to compete also sang to the thrill of all. Omar arrived early to scout where to place his equipment and be out of everyone's way and to be ready with modern soft music as guests arrived; always timing the music to the atmosphere of the event. OC Groove DJ was a major hit at our school fundraiser event for Capistrano USD that took place on 2/23/19 of 130 attendees. We started brainstorming together a few months before the event and OC has always been very professional and extremely easy to communicate with. Â He visited the venue site with me so he can get a better idea of the space layout and worked with me on customizing the playlist for the cocktail hour and during our fundraiser event. Â All the attendees enjoyed his entertainment. Â He also brought in value added items such as uplighting with our theme colors which made the room extremely elegant and also the photobooth he brought along was a big hit with our guests! I would definitely recommend OC Groove DJ!

I highly recommend this vendor. They have been around 25+ years and they know how to dj a party! We worked with a guy named Steve and he was excellent. Before the event I met with them to discuss the kind of party I wanted along with my music selection and taste. They planned out the entire musical event beginning with a really nice intro to the reception. They really set the tone for the reception and by the end of the party, everyone was dancing! It was a surprise since Chinese people usually don't dance. It's usually a mad rush to the door as soon as dinner is over. The DJ Steve was out there on the dance floor with us all, he put on a good show, and got everyone to loosen up and have fun.
They were really easy to work with. Very professional and worth the money.

Keith is THE MAN! My fiance and I met with him before the wedding to go over music and share the vibe we wanted and he nailed it on our big day! Though I know he's a pro in the modern EDM scene, we weren't into that vibe for our wedding personally. He's SO versatile and is an expert in 90s R&B, which is always fun, but he really pumped it up with the popular songs that get people on the dancefloor and classic hip hop joints too. Our friends said Keith was the best wedding DJ they've seen and were bummed they already had tied the knot so they couldn't hire him..ha! He handled everything from the ceremony to cockatil hour and even MC-ing through the evening to keep the flow of the party. We constantly are being told what a FUN wedding we had!
