Waggy Walkys

I would give them no stars. I booked and confirmed a Waggy Walks for my puppy. They were suppose to come between 4 and 7. They never showed up . They did not respond to any of my many messages or calls until after 9:00 PM. They sent me the response below. This is unacceptable for a dog walking business that does not show up to watch dogs and then blames a glitch in the system. I never heard a word back from them. Thank you for reaching out to us! We are so sorry about the issue today! We had your dog assigned to a walker who was on her way to your dog's walk with an arrival time of 6:30pm, but our system/app seems to have glitched and assigned the walk to a different walker as she was on her way. The new walker was was not working today, so he did not know that a walker was automatically assigned to him and the previous walker thought your dog's walk was canceled instead and went to another client. Our office closes at 6pm on Friday, so we we were not aware of any issues at the time of this situation. I actually just happened to glance at the office inbox after hours and am now seeing everything that went wrong tonight. We are deeply sorry for this! I will be forwarding this issue to our app development team so they can resolve the glitch going forward and can assure you, nothing was charged today for your dog's walk. Waggy Walkys is dependable, flexible and oriented towards the needs of dog parents who lead busy out-of-home lives but care deeply about their dog's day -to-day needs and experiences. Excellent communications and warm and friendly walkers are the icing on the cake. Special thanks to Jose who really goes above and beyond! Easy way to tip walkers. We used Waggy Walkys for years for multiple dogs and always had a great experience with their walkers. The most important thing for us (other than, of course, having someone who would love our doggies the way we do) was that they also have enough staff that if the regular walker was out sick or on vacation, they could send someone else. So, we were never up a creek without a paddle for dog walking when we needed to go to work. We are still good friends with one of our previous walkers who moved out of the area. Updated - the response below is not accurate. We asked for a 12:00 and 3:00 check-in specifically. Not a timeframe. We called at 12:30 with no response. Then we texted and received a response that no one was available. It wasn’t until that point that we scrambled and luckily found a neighbor to let the dogs out. I have a different walker each time (3times week). Would be beneficial for my dog to have consistent walkers. It would also be nice if I could know when the walker would be here either the evening before or early in the morning of scheduled walker arrival

Terrible service. They absolutely rip off walkers in order to flash dirt cheap pricing at customers for walks. 4 members of their office staff quit mid-late 2019 aside from their scheduler Austin, including their Operations Manager, Chris Lafferty; CEO Alex, Assistant Ops Manager, and me to work for a competitor. Frank and the other owner constantly did zero work except spitball unsustainable ideas and had HR hiring the absolute trashiest of dog walkers. Missed walks, faked walks, walkers going to walks for clients that had cancelled--you name it.
