I think all 125 people at our wedding made a point to tell us how great the band was. A good band was at the top of our list and Vybe society WELL EXCEEDED our expectations. Seriously they were SO good! They know so many songs and are open to learning songs you request if they don't already know it. They also have such a fun vibe (no pun intended) about them. We hired Vybe Society to play at both our wedding ceremony and reception, and they absolutely blew us away! From start to finish, they were incredible—so easy to work with, professional, and unbelievably talented. Their timing during the ceremony was perfect, and they performed our chosen songs beautifully. Then at the reception, they played everything we asked for and more. We absolutely loved this band at our wedding! They were truly amazing and made our entire night incredible. Our guests couldn't stop complimenting the music and how spectacular the performance was throughout the evening. The team was incredibly easy to coordinate with leading up to the wedding and accommodated all of our needs, which made the planning process so much smoother. The entire band was fantastic, and we have to give special recognition to the two lead vocalists, Luq and Mickala, who were absolutely outstanding. Vybe Society was absolutely incredible! They handled sound for four different locations across our venue's property (ceremony, cocktail hour, dinner, and dancing), and everything went off without a hitch. Communication was a little slow at times leading up to the big day, which made us a bit nervous—but as we got into the final week, it became clear that they had everything fully under control. The day-of execution was seamless. The dance floor was packed all night. We had an absolute blast, and so many of our guests told us how amazing the music was! We are such huge fans of Vybe Society! We've seen their shows around the Bay Area and knew they'd be the perfect band for our wedding. We specifically requested Danielle as our female vocalist because she crushed "Crazy in Love" which we opened the dance floor with, but truly every musician in the band is extremely talented. We and our guests were on the dance floor all night long. We had people coming up to us at the end up the night and the next day telling us how this is the best wedding band they've seen. On top of that, all the band members were very friendly and had great energy throughout the night. Catherine was also easy to communicate with and the questionnaire was very detailed to help make sure all our requested music choices were executed properly on the day of. Vybe Society played at our July wedding in Monterey and we couldn't have asked for anything more! They were easy to work with and great at what they do. We hired them to play the reception, but they were also helpful with the ceremony and cocktail hour playlist set-up. I am a musician and this group/conglomerate of musicians are absolutely amazing. I hired them for my wife's surprise 50th birthday party at Plank in Jack London Square. Absolutely solid from beginning to end. They even took a request of a song they had never played before, rehearsed it during their meal break, and played it seamlessly. Whaa?! What band can do that?! They are upbeat, positive, happy musicians that clearly enjoy what they do. The logistics of arranging the event were very easy to make happen. Catherine, Vybe Society's manager was very easy to work with. The band was on time and at the end of the party packed up very quickly and left the space on time. TALK ABOUT A PARTY. Thank you so much to Vybe society for absolutely CRUSHING it at our wedding. We had a really hard time picking a band, youtube and website videos can only do so much! We are music lovers who really wanted people grooving and rocking out all night and Vybe Society did just that and MORE. The dance floor was absolutely electric! One of the most important things we wanted on our wedding day was a kickass band. Vybe Society delivered! They brought the beats all night long. We had their strings play during our ceremony, and it was nothing short of magical. They also played our cocktail hour and set a great tone going into the evening. As a jazz musician and former music promoter, my expectations for our wedding band were quite high. Vybe Society exceeded these expectations and then some. Their musicianship and energy kept the dancefloor going all night, and many of our guests came to us afterwards to tell us how amazing the band was.

Not only were they great performers, but they were a pleasure to work with as well. Catherine was super helpful coordinating before the event. The band took my long unorganized list of requests and arranged them into 3 beautifully crafted sets. They were very accommodating to my special requests as well. Elijah helped set up a mic and sound for a song I had prepared as a surprise for my bride, and they let me sit in with the band as well! Dale did a great job of MC’ing our toasts, and they were all fantastic guests all around.

We also booked the string quartet through Vybe Society. There could not have been a better accompaniment for our ceremony. Their repertoire was a great mix of classical and covers of various genres, which brought an element of fun to the classiness of the string quartet. Their timing of songs with the ceremony really brought it to the next level!

The first night was actually just for a mic set up during our ceremony and some pre recorded music over dinner. It was really important to us that our guests could hear us during the ceremony and the mic and speaker set up was FLAWLESS despite being in the middle of a field! The team really figured it out and I was so grateful to not be worrying about static or the sound cutting in and out on this special day. The second night we hired them as a band and as a DJ add on! The live music was AMAZING, truly. Our guests loved it and they sounded amazing. The team was again flexible as we figured out the best set up for them in our family barn, and we feel really lucky to have worked with them. The DJ was a fun way to end the night and we all had a great time dancing. The team came out for a site visit and was easy to work with! My only advice for other couples here is I wish we had taken the time to make a specific playlist for the DJ to play, he played great songs but the hour flew by and there were some songs we wish we would have more specifically asked for. Additionally, as compared to some of our other vendors, Vybe Society sometimes took longer to get back to us during the contracting phase - but the level of service and quality of work was so great we are really grateful to have worked with them!
