Had my laptop hinge break into a million pieces. Was given a quote from a different company of $750. Could not fix the hinge . ..had to replace the entire screen assembly. I called Brian at Tri. He came by the house and looked at it. Told me they could fix the hinge for $180. He took it to the shop and brought it back in three days good as new! Trust these guys. they are goooood. More...

Brian at Tri Valley Computer was extremely professional and timely replacing my failing hard drive with a new one I received from Dell after alert cautioning imminent failure showed up on my computer Not only was the new hard drive installed properly and booting up perfectly but most importantly ALL my files and programs are back on the new drive including all of my Outlook . He also set up a backup routine for my hard drive to an external hard drive for safe keeping of all my data and programs moving forward. During this process he kept in touch during a time when you are worried about losing everything that is on your computer keeping my concerns at a minimum. I had an issue with my computer , I called another company i spent money and i ended up figuring out how to resolve the issue , they never resolved my issue months later had a another issue same guy came spent 4 hours could not resolve my issue , i called Brian at Tri Valley Computer Repair explained my issue he told me what to do and in less then 10 minutes my issue was resolved, i can assure you from now on any time i have a computer issue Tri Valley will be who I call. I hired Brian at Tri Valley to help set up my elderly father's computer after he moved into a senior living community. Brian did a wonderful job getting my dad's computer all set up. He inspected it, got it all hooked to the the local wi-fi and he configured the computer so that my dad (who has very limited computer skills) could easily navigate to his email and Facebook pages. Brian even adjusted the size of the cursor to allow my dad to see it more easily. Before Brian went out we had agreed that he would be taking my dad's computer into his shop for work, but after looking at it on the spot, that wasn't necessary and we saved some money. It's exciting to answer the phone and answer questions, you never know what question will be asked and we get joy by fixing the issue.
What inspired you to start your own business?
In 1981 or so, we started out of a garage in Hawthorne, California, it just grew from there. We have had to reinvent our-self every 10 years or so, times do change and you have to change with the times....
