The DC Transit Band is a music entertainment company based in Manassas, Virginia. This nine-piece band features the vocals of Nicole Eaddy and Davon Adams embellished by a three-piece horn section and anchored in a veteran rhythm section. The band plays a wide variety of popular dance music and will keep your guests on the dance floor all night long.

What inspired you to start your own business?
We love to match the need for live music with the right band to provide it! If you need a four piece rock band for your backyard barbecue, we're there. Do you need a cool jazz quartet to provide background music for your company's cocktail party or grand opening? We're there! Do you need a band for your large outdoor community event? We're there!! Do you need a wedding band to support your ceremony, provide a quartet for cocktails, learn all your special dances, provide the best dinner set ever, and then keep your guests dancing till the very end? We're there. We love the challenge, we love the people, we love to provide live music. That is why we do this!

We provide live music for your events. If you need remote, it is now entirely possible. But with all the recorded music available, it is unlikely you'd need this service.
Weddngs
The DC Transit Band’s team of coordinators will work with you to plan the entire reception program. From your grand entrance to the announcement of the bridal party, they will tailor the entire reception to meet your needs. The DC Transit Band is willing to travel for events and is available for rehearsal dinners, ceremonies, cocktail hours, and receptions, providing premium instrumentals, vocals, and MC services.
Corporate Events
The DC Transit Band’s team of coordinators will work with you to plan the live music aspect of your event. The band's jazz faction will perform quiet standards providing a classy backdrop as your guests arrive. The full ensemble will perform beautiful ballads and easy listening while your guests dine. We'll help facilitate any program or announcements you may have and then... NON-STOP dancing for the remainder of the event.
Birthday Parties
Live Music can really make the party. Whether its 10-20 people or hundreds, we'll work with you to provide the music you need right where you want it. We have years of experience in making nearly any logistical set up work for the band. By the pool, no problem. Under a tent, no problem. On a balcony overlooking the estate, no problem! In the back deck in the back yard, no problem! We can make it work for you!! No hassle!!
