My husband gave me a gift of a photography class from Taylor Alexander Photography this past Christmas. I was finally able to schedule it and take the class from Taylor herself this past March. Not only did she teach me how to use the equipment I already owned more efficiently, but she opened my eyes to so much more as far as the type and style of photos I like to take. Yes, this was a beginner's class, but now I have more of an overall understanding. I had been doing so many wrong things for so long.She is so down-to-earth and easy to talk to. I loved the way she explained everything in layman's terms in addition to having a great guide book she provided. She even offered help on choosing other equipment and gave me an example of what a photography release should look like. My only regret is that I didn't take the time to learn from her sooner. I hope to take her full mentorship class soon to learn more about editing and business. I would highly recommend taking a class from her as well as booking for photography needs. More...

I was so excited for my shoot with Taylor! She made the pre-process of the shoot fun, she touches base with you on you're own original ideas and adds some of her own. Then at the shoot she brings that creativity to life! The best part about Taylor is how professional she is overall. She never made me feel uncomfortable with my baby bump, she understands what it's like to be the person in front of the camera and behind it and offers tips and tricks to make you look even better in your photos! This young woman knows what she's doing and does it well. Taylor was professional, energetic, knowledgeable and the perfect photographer for my daughters senior pictures. We traveled from upstate NY to Nashville for vacation and decided to get her senior pictures taken while we were in Nashville. Had Taylor do our family photo shoot about two weeks ago. She was wonderful, working with everyone to minimize our time out in the nearly 100 degree heat. She even had the little ones smiling. We were all feeling drained so I was not too hopeful for the photos but what a surprise! Taylor somehow managed to get so many great photos that it was hard to choose. My family and I were meeting up in Nashville for the holidays. Taylor agreed to do a shoot two days before Christmas, and got the proofs to me very quickly despite how busy the holidays are.
