I have used Society Pet Sitter for in home visits. Tiffany Watson is so organized and does such a good job of communicating with the client and her sitters. The staff quickly responds to requests for visits and overnight stays. They notify you in advance to schedule reservations for holidays. The sitters do such a great job and I appreciate all of the pictures from each visit. My dog is always very calm when we get home and I can tell she was well taken care of. The office employees work hard to coordinate visit times and to set you up with an alternate sitter if your primary is unavailable when you need visits. However, the level of service your pets will get can vary wildly across sitters. I believe that it’s because there is lack of standardization for quality of care that is set by the service for the sitters, and ambiguity in what clients can reasonably expect from sitters. I would give 5 stars for the great sitters, but I’ve experienced really nerve wracking days being hundreds of miles from home when I’ve had sitters at my house who clearly do not follow the care instructions I explicitly communicated for my dogs across in person sitter meet and greets, written copies of all my instructions, (I.e. amount of food, length of walks, etc) and consistent texts with the sitter group. I pay a lot of money (usually at least 30% of my total trip budget, sometimes more than I pay to lodge myself) to keep my dogs cared for when I’m on vacation, and I add gratuity on top of that, so I expect service concomitant with the pricing. We absolutely loved Adam with Society Pet Sitter. He was so sweet to my dog and made her comfortable enough to join us in our wedding day celebrations. Adam went above and beyond by constantly taking her out, snuggling with her, feeding her, and even changing into formal attire for our cocktail hour which he did not have to do! I just recently used Society Pet Sitter, Inc while out of state on a family vacation for 5 days. This was my 1st time ever leaving my pets at home without someone I knew directly. Scott, was phenomenal in every sense of the word. His initial impression was very caring, attentive, compassionate and very affectionate towards my dog and cat. I needed that reassurance in order to be comfortable moving forward. Each day I recieved an update on my pets behavior and activities. My dog struggled adjusting a little bit but Scott was very patient and empathic towards him. He wasn't overbearing or forcing my dog to do anything he wasn't ready for which is a huge plus in my book. I feel very strongly about others caring for my pets as I do for them and Scott did just that. I am confident in the services provided by Society Pet Sitter Inc for my future needs. Unbelievable service. I've used them a few times, and now they're the only service I would consider. On this trip, I had my air conditioner go out, and they were so kind and considerate to work with me on pet care while the air conditioner went out while I was out of town. Take a second & look at this message. This is the definition of unprofessional. My girlfriend asked Pet Society to take our dog out and they wouldn’t do it unless we took down a negative review. The location at Dallas has had 6 new employees in the last 6 months because the owner is impossible to work it (I’ve been told by the former employees) One of the workers even told me, “I’d never let me dog alone with that woman.” This picture is proof that they don’t care about your dog. I'm so glad I found this place. I moved to TX about 3 yrs ago and came to the conclusion, I was not able to travel after 3 different pet sitter disasters. Unfortunately, medical emergency forced my husband and I to leave the state for a few days. The friend we've been having check in on the kitties, when we leave for a night, was just crazy busy. We had to take a chance and based on reviews, we went with Society Pet Sitters. So, so, so happy we did. Yoshie, absolutely wonderful woman, was the sitter. I got pictures and updates for every visit (which was twice a day). She even took the time to stop by before we left on our trip to go over everything again so, the kitties were comfortable and happy. Yoshie, my husband and I were all in a group text along with the visit coordinator, Mckenna and the owner, Tiffany. Everything went so smoothly, even after our flight was canceled and we had to add two more visits last minute. I have 4 cats and to some, they're just cats. But, to me, they're my babies.
