We had an 80s themed Halloween party and our guests continue to rave about the party thanks mostly to the DJ. Everybody danced (a ton), he played great music, he changed course when I asked (we preferred whole songs to mash ups) and he managed to please everybody.

From the moment we called to get a quote, we had excellent service. Planning events can be stressful however, we were offered so many options & so we didn’t even think about. They kept in contact throughout the week. Shannon came out to the event, spoke with the birthday boy & family. The music, the set up, the friendliness was excellent from beginning to end. Tifanny hired S.K.A. for her daughter, Felicity, sweet 16 about a month ago. Dj Happy arrived early to set-up, and even put wireless uplights around the house that changed the feel of the entire place. He mixed everything from hiphop, rap, line dancing songs, and on special request by the aunt, bachata. Felicity's aunt gave lessons to all the girls on how to dance bachata, it was absolutely wonderful. Dj Happy played many other special requests, like old skool music, break dancing music, merengue, reggaeton, banda, country, and the cha cha slide. He also played the song "I loved her first" so that mom and daughter could dance a special dance. That was a wonderful and special touch to the night.

We all had a great time and I would recommend SKA and Dj Happy anytime. More...

Shannon was the DJ at our Wedding. Overall I was satisfied with our experience!
I got to meet Shannon and his lovely wife for a free consultation and we loved the plan we had worked out with Shannon. Since then Shannon has been very quick to respond to emails and had sent out a template where I could list the music I wanted for special points or in general. I was confused when he asked for MP3 files of the music I wanted, when I asked about it, it was more for if I had any special music or special versions of a song, it was ok that I did not send any MP3 files. Shannon was very easy to communicate with. He is approachable and quick to respond to emails/questions.

Overall he has a fun personality. He came to the wedding early. I had a pretty ridiculous time schedule with minimal setup-start time and he was able to accommodate my needs. I felt like he read our vibe and we had fun. He was attentive to us during the event, meaning he paid attention to where we were and what came next (ie, its time to dance, its time for toasts, etc)
If I could hire him again I would DEFINITELY. He came to do a job. And he did it. More...

DJ Vetz hosted an outdoor screening of Burning Man: The Musical in San Francisco. I found that Shannon at SKA Entertainment and DJ Vetz were very professional to work with, easy to communicate with, showed up early, and stayed late to help breakdown everything. They provided mics and a good sound system, projector, and screen to make it a successful event. I would recommend them if you're hosting a large party or event in the San Francisco Bay Area. I hired Shannon to DJ a birthday party last week. It was my first experience with a live DJ at my house and it was above and beyond what I expected.
