As a photographer/ motion director I' am involved in shooting anything from advertising to portraits/ head shots/ product photography /fashion and life style. What’s the secret to taking a great photograph?
Understanding what the clients requirements are. Understanding the medium you are working in from light itself to the subject matter and camera/ lenses and computer. When you have a feel for all these you are well on your way to creating a great photograph.
What questions might you ask a client when starting a new project?
I would like to understand the clients requirements and how I help fulfill their expectations.
Once I have a clear idea of the parameters of the project I can estimate the cost that is acceptable to both parties. Then the magic can happen.
What do you love most about your job?
I love photography. It's my passion which gives me great joy. To meet people have a chat take their photograph. To get to know your subject a little before taking the photos. To me it's a privilege to be able to document life and help people in some way fulfill their dreams.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I wanted to document life, people. It felt like the camera was an extension of my body, giving me a purpose .This was a clear signs I should start my own business. Not to mention live life to its fullest.
Why should our clients choose you?
I think clients should choose me for my eye, the way see the world (photographic style). When you have a passion for your art/craft it shows in your work!
Can you provide your services online or remotely? If so, please add details.
Potentially I can provide some of my services remotely. Once photographed the client can receive their images online. I can also work with the client online if any re touching is required.
What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
I am hopeful that we do not have another pandemic in the near future. If however a client wishes I would be happy to comply with whatever the clients requirements might be to assure them that the project they wish me to photograph will be carried out in a safe environment. That would include waring masks, sanitation and any testing (covid) they might require.
