We hired DJ Raj for our daughter's sweet 16 birthday party and we could not have picked a better DJ.
DJ Raj was quick to get back to any emails or questions we had before the event. Our daughter created a Spotify list and sent to him week prior to her party and every song was just perfect. They were really great at getting them on the dance floor and they knew exactly when to slow it down during food or cake. They arrived early and were ready before the guests arrived. My husband and I had Raj & Rita DJ and MC our wedding and they were fantastic! They were friendly and accommodating from the start. We put together a playlist ourselves for the reception and asked them to play it. We noticed there weren't too many people dancing, so we told them to forget about the playlist and do their thing. DJ Raj and Rita did a fantastic job on our B'nai Mitzvah. We had a joint celebration with over 120 guests ages from 2 to 95 and everyone had fun! Raj & Rita MADE the party. The rain poured down and the decorations blew off tables but Raj just kept playing awesome music and people danced in the rain. Raj and Rita are gems. I am so fortunate to have found them. I had the difficult task of finding a DJ in the Boston area that would be able to play music from my country Guyana. Raj already knew caribbean music of the west indies and that Chutney music is popular in Guyana. In addition, he has hosted numerous Indian events and is already familiar with Bollywood music. I was able to give him a list of music that he input into his computer. Furthermore, he was quickly able to find any requests from my guests, including an obscure song requested by my uncle.

My event was a 90th Birthday party with 100 guests. A good part of the program entailed music video from a projector. Raj connected the audio from the projector to his speakers and was able to switch back and forth from music videos on the projector to his DJ music using volume controls.

Raj and Rita have great personalities and are easy to work with. Rita especially brought an energy to the event that helped to make it a success. She is a huge bonus to hiring Raj. I realized that as the emcee, she was so important to setting the energy and tone of the event. They were both so likable, my guests loved them and It was as if though they were part of my family.

Hiring Raj and Rita was one of the best decisions I made for my event. They were extremely professional from the start. Every time I contacted them, they responded immediately. If I did not contact them for a while, they would reach out to let me know they were there even if it were a simple text to say hello. They were available to me at all times to address and answer any questions I had. They were so responsive I was alleviated of any worries, and knew they would show up on time and follow through with my requests successfully.

It is a pleasure to write a review for Raj and Rita to share my experience with others who can benefit from the joy of hiring them. Thank you both for your wonderful talents, adapting accordingly to help make my event a success, and for your professionalism! It was a pleasure!

DJ Raj and his wife are a power team! We received so many compliments about them at our wedding - even afterwards people are still talking about the DJ, Photo Booth, and MC! My no-play list was respected. My first dance and father-daughter and mother-son dances were cut off at the time I specified. Everyone was announced correctly. Correct music. NO HICCUPS. PERFECT. From start to finish, HIGHLY recommend. Raj was not pushy at all and understood that planning a wedding is hectic! He is very patient with his clients when waiting for responses to emails or texts. Well where do I start???? DJ Raj and Rita were the absolute Best!!! They were good from our first contact until the day of the event! The event went SO WELL! The kids never- I say NEVER! left the dance floor. I sent a playlist and he just amplified it so everyone was happy! We had a few adult chaperones and we were also dancing all night! DJ Raj & MC Rita were wonderful from start to finish. They have great energy, enthusiasm, & professionalism. From our initial email, I knew they were going to be great to work with. Over the months leading up to our company’s holiday party, they were also very communicative. They checked in every few months & helped us with any special requests we had. They were so excited to do what they love to do. You can tell it is fun & a passion. DJ Raj & MC Rita had big smiles the entire night & kept the party rocking. I had fun because they had fun which spread throughout the entire venue. They are great at figuring out what each crowd wants to hear & dance to. They continually modified the music to suite each crowd of dancers. There was consistently a group on the dance floor after dinner which was when the party really started. They came dressed to impress & perfectly manicured. They spoke just enough throughout the night & helped with crowd control. They really assisted the speakers/presenters & gave them great guidelines in regards to their speeches & how to best be received by the audience.
