DJ Q was absolutely INCREDIBLE for our wedding! From the very first song to the last dance, he kept the energy high and the dance floor packed all night long. He checked in with us regularly to make sure everything was exactly how we wanted, but also took the lead on crowd coordination so we didn’t have to think about a thing. His song selections were perfect, his timing was spot-on, and he read the room effortlessly. We were able to just relax and enjoy the night knowing he had everything under control. Wow, where to even begin. Quinten went absolutely above and beyond all expectations we had for our special day. He made it a point to always check in on us to see if we needed anything, and even went the extra mile for us of putting together time filler activities for us and our guests (totally recommend doing a photo dash with guests)! A great DJ/MC will truly make or break your big day and he made ours amazing. To have guests on the dance floor at a Thursday evening wedding was so awesome and rare to see.
Not only is he an AMAZING DJ/MC, he also goes one step farther to do photos and video. In real time, right after our ceremony, him and his partner took a picture of us and put it on his screen and WOW, the picture itself was breath taking and hard to believe it had been taken moments before seeing it.
I will recommend Quinten over and over again to anyone searching for someone to make their big day special. He will make sure you are taken care of, you’re on schedule, and will even stay up to date with you throughout your wedding planning process and be there with you every step of the way!

We used Quinten Johnston production for our wedding, Quinten was very knowledgeable and helpful during the planning stages of our wedding. He was always willing to set up meetings to discuss our expectations and made sure he had a clear understanding of what we wanted. We were a little unorthodox and had a significant portion of our reception be karaoke. Quinten offered exactly what we needed to make the karaoke reception happen! Ron was the specific dj that worked our event and was lively, helpful and a great speaker. He facilitated the ceremony and karaoke without a hitch. The only negative for the entire night was just one mispronounced name which was unfortunately the bride. It only happened once and we probably could have avoided it by clarifying the names before hand but we had a lot going on leading up to the ceremony. Words can’t describe how amazing of an MC, photographer, videographer, and genuine person Quinten is. He made our day as perfect as it could’ve been. His skill set is one of a kind, and he clearly has a way with people. We hired Quintin for our wedding and he was amazing from day one but day of just topped anything anyone could have done. He set up quickly and without bothering anyone. He brought his camera and video camera and had a photo of us on his stand before we even came into the reception. He made sure we were both good the entire day and honestly was the reason we could sit back and relax. I could not recommend him more! I would use him a thousand times over! Mareo was the DJ we had for my daughter’s wedding yesterday. He was soooooo absolutely perfect!!!!! The day could not have went so smooth if it wasn’t for him! ! Everyone bragged about our DJ. The party was hoppin and he was right on point with the “specific songs” . He reads the crowd with song choice, to helping with organizing. He made sure the pastor/grooms /bride had microphones !! I just can’t begin to explain how absolutely perfect the night was, and Mareo guided the whole thing through my/music/announcements. He is polite, friendly, great banter, and easy to work with. I would book Mareo again and again!!! And let me tell you ( I know I’m long winded) I was very skeptical when I was booking the DJ. They didn’t have a lot of reviews on Mareo so I wasn’t sure if I was going to get what I was hoping for. But after talking with Quinten he assured me that Mareo has done MANY weddings, unfortunately in the busyness of weddings, a lot of people forget to leave reviews. From the very beginning, Quinten displayed a level of professionalism that blew my husband and I away! We got married 08/22/25. When the ceremony hall lost power, he came prepared with a back up generator! When he was informed that I was without a coordinator he stepped in!
