Billy worked with our school for our 2024 prom by providing Photobooth services and that part was a blast. We had a very expensive but not so great DJ experience that prom, using another company. We were all pretty disappointed after that. I didn’t realize Billy did it all but he offered his services for our 2025 prom. He was our DJ and the Photo Booth was more self serviced, which all turned out incredible! He showed up early and kept the fun going for the whole 3 hours! TEN STARS!! Chetnik Hall is a hidden gem right outside of Harvest Acres in Crown Point/Schererville. We've gone here for Funeral Luncheons for both of my grandparents in the last couple of years. The food is FANTASTIC, but the staff here is the best part. Before you even realize that you are getting a little low on food or drinks, the servers are already there refilling &: politely taking care of you. Unlike most banquet halls, the staff truly cares about their guests. You never have to ask for anything because the ladies are on their game! Also, the bar & whoever is bartending are so so much fun & know how to make a real cocktail without trying to be cheap. They are family run serving delicious recipes that have obviously been in the family for years. This hall doesn't get the attention they deserve for the experience they offer. So Look outside the usual 5 banquet halls for your next event! You will not be disappointed. Thank you for hosting both of my grandparent's luncheons. Billy Q was an excellent DJ for our wedding! Even before we decided to use him as our DJ he took the time to get to know us and was always extremely prompt at responding to us. Throughout our planning process he met with us on multiple occasions to help us craft our wedding day timeline and decide on the music we wanted. Day of he arrived super early to get everything set up and started playing background music before our guests started arriving. We also decided to use his uplighting and photo booth package which I highly recommend! The uplighting made a huge difference in our venue and really set the tone for the dance floor. Even though we didn’t get a videographer we felt like we got one with Billy and his Photo Booth! He sent us a highlight video of our reception and beautifully captured our private last dance. ABSOLUTELY PHENOMENAL DJ! Billy was so very wonderful and we are so grateful we had him for our wedding! He was extremely easy to work with and very organized (he put together a wonderful timeline for the big day). We knew he was the person for the job (AKA for our wedding) after our first meeting with him when his passion for being a DJ was so very evident; it is easy to see he lovesss this job! Billy was an awesome DJ! He actually cared about us and asked us very detailed questions. Not only did he DJ, but really he hosted our reception and it was just great. You know you’ve hired a great DJ when the people around you compliment them and it’s not just you and your significant other who likes them. Billy’s process to gather information was also super helpful!! It was seamless for us to gather him information due to how his Spotify Link upload worked for song recommendations, as well as questionnaires for different details he needed to know for our wedding. My favorite thing about Billy above all though, would be he actually took time to get to know us. He wasn’t just a DJ looking to get money or to “book a gig”. He is a DJ that wants to make sure he knows his clients and ensures they will have a great time with zero worries due to his services. There was even this one moment where we could not meet for our final follow up with the time slots he provided (and if you’re reading this - that was not because of his time slots, it was because we were just so busy with finalizing our wedding in so many different areas). Billy went out of his way to allow us to schedule a time late at night that was past his time slots. Billy also rolled with some punches on the day of the wedding which speaks to his ability to adapt to your needs! We had planned things that were taken out and we had some things that needed to be added in due to our wedding guests not answering correct questions for the fun trivia game he provided. He was willing to go with the flow and work with your needs to ensure he wasn’t just DJing, but being there for you on your big day. Billy was an incredible DJ (and person) who really invested his time with you and wanted to make sure you got to listen and dance to the things you wanted! Loved the process from beginning to end with each consult and discussion we got to have with him. We really appreciated the fact that he shows a great amount of patience and communicated with us throughout the whole process, even throughout the day of the wedding, to make sure things went over smoothly. Billy was Phenomenal! Through out the entire planning process Billy was helpful, professional, organized, responsive, and extremely knowledgeable. During the chaos of wedding planning, working with Billy provided a level of comfort & peace of mind; putting us at ease that not matter what happened the day of, Billy would be able to handle and roll with it. When the day-of came, Billy set up at the Omni Severin without any issues and his station was very clean, nice, and professional. He had everything finalized well before the day-of and knew exactly what to do. Billy balanced going above and beyond without being intrusive or distracting in any way. During the reception, we threw him a curveball and he was able to easily improv, as we needed more time than planned to visit guest's tables. Billy was absolutely outstanding. From our first conversation, we knew we wanted Billy to be a part of our big day. When you hire Billy, you will get more than just a DJ. Billy took away a lot of the stress that comes with planning a wedding. I think he was a wedding planner in his past life. He created a perfect schedule for us, communicated with every single one of our vendors, and always went out of his way to make sure we had everything we wanted/needed. My husband and I were married on June 10th, 2023 at Orchard Ridge Country Club in Ft. Wayne, Indiana. We didn't know anything about DJ's when we started our search, but quickly found Billy on Wedding Wire. He had five stars from every client and raving reviews. At first, we though, this must be too good to be true? But we decided to take the leap and contact him. From the very beginning, Billy was the consummate professional. We had three Skype meetings prior to our wedding to discuss all the details regarding pricing, timetable, our expectations of him and music preferences. Billy clearly communicated throughout the entire process, and was always responsive to our questions. The day of the wedding, Billy arrived four and half hours prior to the ceremony to ensure evrything was set up perfectly. The ceremony music was flawless, but nothing compares to our recption. Billy had the dance floor packed from start to finish. He correctly read the vibe of the room, and played music that appealed to all of our guests, young to old. Through out the reception, Billy checked in with my husband and I to ensure everything was going well. Billy even brought my husband his first drink! We truly cannot recommend him more. Billy was by far one of the best investments we made in our wedding. I knew from the start that I wanted a DJ who was personal, easy to work with and open to special requests. If there's one thing I love it's carefully-curated playlists, and Billy gave us the reigns to add our own songs and make our own playlists. We hired Billy after we attended a wedding where he was the DJ. The party we had was a combination of birthday and retirement. He communicated clearly, was well prepared for all of my music request and setting things up. We had multiple meetings with him to decide what music and styles we wanted for our wedding ceremony and reception. Billy even came to our rehearsal to help us prepare and practice for the ceremony! I don’t even know where to start… From the second we first got in contact with Billy he was seriously amazing.. Before we officially booked he was more than happy to answer any and all questions we had no matter how stupid those questions may have been. We had two meetings with him before the wedding which he went above and beyond in helping us understand everything that went into scheduling the day and even helped me decide things that really were above his pay grade lol. I had such a peace of mind going into my wedding reception because he was truly so organized, so well planned, and so informative during all of the planning sessions I just knew everything would go smoothly.. which is exactly how a bride wants to feel going into her big day! I was married on September 25th, and Billy provided everything he said he would and much more! He was awesome! I cannot tell you the amount of people who asked who the DJ was after the wedding. He was extremely detailed in the planning to ensure the day would be perfect. He was in contact with our other vendors and helped create a timeline that would keep us on track for time. We discussed our plan over zoom on multiple occasions, and he provided us with great suggestions that we ended up going with. He arrived early to the venue so he could set up and make sure the sound was clear. We had our friend singing live for our first dance, and he was quick to accommodate him and his equipment. When looking for wedding vendors, having a phenomenal DJ was one of my top three most important priorities. As a DIY Type-A bride who chose not to have a wedding coordinator, I knew it was important to hire someone who didn’t just play music. I wanted someone who would run the ceremony and reception, and I wanted a person who was professional but obviously loved doing their job. I can honestly say that Billy checked every single box as well as some boxes I didn’t even think about. His pre-wedding Zoom meetings were SO helpful, as both my now husband and I live out of state and were planning our entire wedding a thousand miles away. Billy is THE best! I'm glad I got to snag possibly his last slot in 2022. Initially decided to go with Billy because of his professionalism, but he went above and beyond prior to and on the wedding day. Billy met with us several times and I loved his system that he uses and that we used Zoom so we can talk face to face. It felt like we knew each other before meeting on the wedding day. He had a whole template for all the different songs we needed to fill in and a great system where I could upload spotify playlists for pre-ceremony, cocktail, dinner, dancing. It was easy-peasy for us as a couple. Also, in one of our initial touch base meetings, Billy sensed that Run and I hadn't really thought out what we were going to do for our ceremony and provided a lot of suggestions that got our brains churning. Billy was flexible and made us feel at ease and made sure we had everything we needed during dinner. Billy didn't just play music for us during the dancing, he was able to read the crowd, field song requests appropriately, and hyped the dance floor up!
