⭐ Review for Private Chef (Warning to Future Clients) in Arizona We booked this private chef for a bachelor party, and the experience was alarming and completely unacceptable. The person who arrived was not the chef we hired, but someone claiming to be her brother. He immediately made our group uncomfortable with unwanted sexual comments and behaved inappropriately throughout his short time at the property. We had to repeatedly ask him to leave, and even then it was difficult to get him off the premises. The situation escalated when the same man returned at 6 AM, walking around the property and peering into every window for over an hour. At this point, we felt unsafe and violated. A police report was filed, and our entire group ended up leaving the Airbnb and checking into a hotel for the remainder of our trip because we no longer felt secure. This was supposed to be a celebratory weekend, and instead it turned into a frightening and deeply uncomfortable experience. I cannot recommend this chef or his associates under any circumstances. I’ve been waiting for my payment since September 19-more than a month now. Support keeps delaying without solving anything. You even deducted 6,000 THB for “not putting back clean dishes,” which is ridiculous. Take a Chef never supports chefs, only pushes for new bookings. I had an incredibly disappointing experience with Take a Chef and strongly caution anyone considering using this service. What was supposed to be a high-end, private chef experience turned into a complete disaster . The chef arrived without proper supplies or serving dishes and used dollar-store-quality items for what was marketed as a premium service. Worse, he wore a surgical mask and gloves the entire time, creating a cold and impersonal atmosphere that made our guests extremely uncomfortable. At no point was I informed this would be part of the experience. When I reached out to the company to express my concerns, they hid behind a 24-hour complaint window and claimed they couldn’t issue a refund because the chef had already been paid. No attempt was made to rectify the situation or offer any meaningful resolution—just excuses and fine print. This company is not set up to protect its clients—only itself and its vendors. There is no accountability when things go wrong, and no care for customer satisfaction once your money is collected. I met Chef Steve at a dinner he catered for a friend, I asked when or if he visits Las Vegas I would like to book his services. Excitement and anticipation is something that is rare these days but that's what I feel when I'm about to be treated to a meal cooked by Steve. I have no doubt that anyone that uses Steve's services as a private chef will not be disappointed. The choice of dishes was perfect, the spicy chicken dish was amazing, and he even told us his recipe- lemongrass, chili, and ginger shrimp paste were key ingredients. What’s your signature dish?
Signature dishes are created with layers of flavors, blending herbs, spices, and seasonings. Preparing and playing with sauces & dressings have become the most important accompaniment to all my dishes, so answering every dish is my signature dish, only with the signature sauce or dressing.
How do you go about creating the perfect menu for your clients?
Is the menu the same every time when hiring a personal chef? Only if you want it to be. Personal Chef Dining will create a new menu for each client's request. The menu that is created is not by the chef, he is providing his amazing talent, and the clients create the perfect menu.
