Awesome Dr. and have always had my dogs and cats well taken care of. First experience was on Sunday and Dr. Patricia took my emergency call and then met me promptly at her office to treat my dog Macey. Most recently Dr. treated my Yorkie Poo, Bear for pancreatitis with secondary infection, successfully! Bear was a very sick dog and Dr. promptly treated for pain relief and prescribed med for infection. Two weeks later, still concerned, I stopped by without an appt.at the end of office hours, lights were off and dr. was exiting building, she without hesitation offered her expertise and advise. We adopted “Oakley” from Ottawa Vet Hopsital. First time ever being there or adopting from there. We have had him for about 6 months now and renamed him Cooper. And he is the best and cutest dog on the planet. Him and I have a bond like I’ve never had with any other animal. We love him sooooooo much and he’s such a good dog. Even if he wakes me up by laying on top of my head, mind you he is a 60 pound dog I wouldn’t trade him for anything! So thank you Ottawa Vet for allowing us to adopt him ❤️ More...

Every time I call this office they’re there to help with open arms, AMAZING staff. Helped my moms dog get shots on a Saturday ( got right in so she could go to daycare ). Helped me with my demon cat give him Benadryl the day of my move (I’ve taken this cat to at least 3 different vets and no one has never been able to be get it down him before!!!). I left in tears after that one because I don’t think anyone realized the impact on how helpful that actually was to me. More...

I have 4 cats and 2 dogs and have been going to ""Doctor"" as they call her there for almost 10 years. I have always found them to be helpful and compassionate when it comes to my animals as well as being understanding to my personal situation. I would recommend the Ottawa Veterinary Hospital to anyone who is in the Ottawa area and has animals. I live in Earlville and I tried a vet here (very uncompassionate) and one in Mendota before finding this vet and I wouldn't take my animals anywhere else. :) More...
