We worked with North Star Catering for our recent FIU MSIRE Alumni networking event, and I couldn’t be more impressed. Despite a last-minute mix-up that sent the food to the wrong location, their team handled it with grace, urgency, and professionalism, and still delivered everything fresh, beautifully presented, and absolutely delicious. The setup was seamless, the flavors were a hit, and our guests were raving the entire night. What stood out most was the calm and care their team brought to the process - it made all the difference.

OMG, the food is amazing! I was at an event, and they catered it. This was the first time I went to a buffet and wanted to take all the food.

From the start, Northstar Catering stood out and impressed us with a detailed and thoughtfully curated proposal featuring a delicious variety of vegetarian, fish, chicken, and meat options. They were incredibly flexible in working within our budget, and the entire experience felt easy and packed with value.

The service was absolutely impeccable—professional, friendly, and attentive. The food display was beautiful, and the bar service was a hit with our guests (the drinks were amazing!). Most importantly, the food was delicious and left everyone raving.

Chef Italy Kline impressed me by his immediate attention; first by initiating communication with photos. His selection and service showcased a unique style and was so perfect for my Italian husband’s birthday! Italy went above and beyond in meeting at the venue to see the layout and discuss ideas and was so helpful in helping me with any questions I had regarding the service, decorating…. On the night of the party, a very bad traffic accident caused delay, but in what little time there was prior to the party, Italy and his team had the food, drink and service ready in what seemed like a blink of an eye! Then there weee the phenomenal ravings bout the food and the desserts! I heard many comments about his awesome cutlets! Not only did Chef Italy please us with food and service, but he also pulled out a deck of cards and impressed a group of our guest with some pretty slick card tricks! At the beginning we were a bit skeptical since this was for our wedding day, but, Chef REALLY made us relax and reassured everything will go well. Working with Itay Klein and North Star Caterings was an absolute delight! From the moment I received a quote, he was accomodating and flexible and adjusted to my needs for a 90th birthday party for my mother. He was very thorough, professional, and extremely pleasant to work with. The cast iron and his food presentation was beautiful. Every guest raved about how delicious the food was. After he served and cleaned up his food station, he was asking if we needed help cleaning the party, taking trash out, etc. I would rate him 10 stars out of 5 and I will be using him and recommending him for all of my parties...big or small!
