I had a hard time finding a groomer for my dog who just completed radiation for her brain tumor. My dog's behavior has changed since radiation and is anxious when I'm not around. I'm so glad I found Niki who does in-home grooming! She came on time, and my dog instantly wagged her tail of joy. I think she senses Niki's aura of being a big pet lovers. Niki and her lovely family are a God send! I moved from my home in Nevada back to CA to assist a family member. I've always had a home for our beautiful Orange Tabby Polydactyl, until I came to CA in September, 2024. She has boarded our cat on and off since September of this year. I have had to change pick up and drop off times far too often. Niki has always been very accommodating and understanding about my current situation involving moving around with my family member and not always being able to take our sweet cat with us. I trust in Niki's work ethic implicitly, and couldn't ask for anything greater than the love and wonderful care she has provided to our cat. We had our pet dog for 3 years and we had to leave him at a safe and playful place for 3 days for the first time. My pet is not used to be around with other pets and we were worried for a good place to board. Found this place and spoke to niki. She was friendly and had reasonable prices. We left our dog at her place and she kept us informed everyday on my pets well being. Surprisingly my pet was very comfortable at her place with other dogs and cats. This was a big surprise to us. Niki is honestly amazing and we love working with her! I have a Belgian Shepherd that hates her paws being touched by anyone other than myself but she always does great with Niki during nail trims and full grooms. Niki is always patient with her and doesn’t mind taking things slower to help make it a positive experience for her. Niki's services blew me away!!! This was my first time leaving my little Palmer at a board & care service. I could not have been more comfortable and confident in my decision. Niki sent many pictures to me during my vacation, just checking in and sharing how he did throughout the day. Niki didn't hesitate to board our dog despite my concern that he had separation anxiety and had never been boarded. She said she was experienced with the breed and was confident he would sleep through the night. I received texts with photos of our dog playing with other dogs and when we picked him up, he was happy and relaxed. He slept well, played well, and was much less anxious. What do you love most about your job?
Making animals feel good is the best part of my job whether by giving them a spa day or making them homemade dog treats.
What inspired you to start your own business?
My love for animals started at 2 yrs old (if not younger) and has continued for nearly 3 decades. If I’m not working/doing something I’m not passionate about, why bother.
Why should our clients choose you?
My home is a kennel free, stress free environment for those staying with us or grooming with us. If you’re a grooming client, you can rest assured that I will be patient and give all dogs as much needed love and breaks to get the job done with minimal stress to them.
What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
I always sanitize between clients and keep my home tidy.
Grooming
Basic Grooming package (starts at $35) includes bath, blow out, nail trim and buffing, ear cleaning and anal gland expression.
Full Grooming package (starts at $60) includes everything in the basic grooming package plus paw pad trim, sanitary trim and haircut.
Deshedding, Dematting, Teeth brushing, and Flea/tick treatment are separate add ons.
We also offer pick up/ drop off services for an additional fee.
Boarding (Cats and Dogs)
Kennel and stress free home environment where your babies are our babies.
Boarding starts at $45 per day for dogs and $30 per day for cats.
House Call Grooming
House call grooming is the convenience of a groomer coming to your home (garage, bathroom, guest bedroom, etc.).
House call grooming starts at $52 for basic grooming packages and $90 for full grooming packages. Travel fees are not included in the starting price.
Daycare
Going to work or have a party to go to? Bring your babies down for a fun day of play while you get your business done.
Daycare starts at $35 for up to 8 hrs.
